Story
Scrappy is a sweet polite 2yr old German Shepherd Mix. He spent 36 days in the shelter and with that much time it landed him on the euth list. He was then adopted by a man that wanted to do good by saving him from euthanasia, but had no intentions of keeping him, totally adopted on emotion. Scrappy was found on a "Free Dog" FB Page, which often puts dogs at risk of becoming a Bait Dog. Our rescue stepped up to save him and ensure he is given a better more stable home. Despite ALL of this Scrappy is very resilient and it has not affected him. He is still the fun loving dog the shelter volunteers said he was. Scrappy is very slightly timid with new situations, but adjusts easily. He would prefer to be the only dog, but will also do well with a neutral female dog. He does great with kids over 10yrs old, walks well on a leash, is crate trained, housebroke, will alert bark with a knock at the door but relatively a very quiet dog. Scrappy is ready to go to your new home whenever you're ready. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Please reach out with any questions or to get our application. 208-509-7245

Story
Bravo is an 8yo German Shepherd who had found himself in a highly stressful shelter and euth listed. He is now with Gem State Service Dogs & Rescue in Idaho waiting for that special someone that will give him a place in their heart and home to learn what real love is in his final years. Since being with our rescue he has proved he still has PLENTY of life to live. He is active, loving and enjoys interaction with his person. He may not be able to go on a 5mile hike, but he can give you the love & partnership so many of us seek from our dogs. Bravo needs a quieter place to land, he is seeking a 1 dog home with no cats. He would be perfect for a retired home, but a home with older kids would be perfect also. Bravo will be neutered prior to going to an adopter, he is fully vaccinated, microchipped and 100% crate trained. Please reach out with any questions or for an application 208-509-7245
