Cleo

German Shepherd Dog

Female, Adult
Port Saint Lucie, FL
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We adopted Cleo in Feb. 2018 from the Human Society. They found her abandoned and starving. Her microchip has her b-day as 4/12/2016 and I believe she was microchipped by her previous owners. She came to us already trained with basic commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. A common command she is now very familiar with is Get out of the kitchen; Cleo is a foodie and very smart. She knows how to open pantry doors and has even opened the oven before. We ended up baby proofing our home before having a baby. Cleo has been great with babies and kids. Even when we fostered she had so much patience but we could tell her anxiety was pretty high with all the changes. When anxious she chases her tail more or follows us around more. Cleo has been great for us and we love her. This is a hard decision for us but we just dont feel that apartment living is best for her on top of us traveling more for work. We'd love to see her go to a home with a yard and a family with older kids
