Story
11mos old Bobby wins our Cool Kid award. He’s a smaller sized heart-throb of a mix. Probably Husky mixed with German Shepherd? … We’re guessing because of those brown eyes and his keen sense of obedience (see video). He’s warmly affectionate and as highly biddable as you’d want in a buddy. Not high strung, not squeal-y, not escape driven (those stereotypes about Huskies are hard to shake!) … This boy has ‘age-appropriate’ energy levels and after a good romp, will be a sit-at-your-feet pal during chill times and your good times hiking, camping Best Little Man. Now moshing with a group of dogs and being oh-so appropriate and fun. House trained, neutered, all vax done – He’s ready to go home. Watch him learn about life on our Instagram page (badrap_advocacy) Send us a note with your wish list for a new friend to get the ball rolling.

Story
Amelia is our sweet blue-eyed girl- a hidden gem! This wonderful dog was rescued as a stray in Fresno and brought to FDR for a second chance at life in 2022. Since then, she has blossomed into a loving sweetheart with everyone she knows. She even has a boyfriend here named Vincent. Amelia is long overdue to find her forever family and enjoys walks with our fantastic team of volunteers. With her silly mannerisms, coy demeanor, and sweet nature, it's impossible not to smile when spending time with her. She is a special dog, and we can't say enough about how much we adore her. Amelia will be an excellent companion in a home that is just as loving as she is. She was the perfect guest during a recent foster visit. She didn't bark or make noise, loves treats and takes them gently, gets along with male and female dogs and loves quietly cuddling on the couch! *Remember, Northern Breeds have an intense prey drive. They are not suitable around cats, small dogs under 20 lbs, or other small animals. Apply for this beautiful girl today! Adoption donation is $495.

Story
Meet Vincent Van Gogh! When he first came to the shelter he was pretty wary of people, but now he's warmed up and knows that when he sees people he'll get to go on walks and adventures with his dog pals! Walks with his buddies are his favorite parts of the day. He loves to stop and smell the flowers. He's been patiently waiting for his forever home, and will be happiest with a female canine companion in his future household! He'd love to be in a husky savvy home with very secure fencing, that won't let him out unsupervised in a backyard! We've loved watching him grow into a much more confident and social dog, and know that he'll continue to progress by leaps and bounds in a home environment. If you'd like to bring this amazing husky into your home and give him the life he deserves complete an application today!

Story
** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN Santa Fe, New Mexico** This big, handsome boy has a bigger heart and a tail that wags his whole body. He was surrendered by his owner, networked to us from Shafter and has settled in well at the farm. Dax is happy youngster who can be picky about his dog friends but is yet to meet a person he doesn't like. He is affectionate around people and is very happy to stand with his head in your lap waiting for pats and scratches. He has high energy, balanced with a gentle nature and we think he will make an extremely loyal companion. If you are interested in meeting this armchair expert wanna be, complete an adoption application and schedule a meet & greet. Adoption donation $495.
