Story
11mos old Bobby wins our Cool Kid award. He’s a smaller sized heart-throb of a mix. Probably Husky mixed with German Shepherd? … We’re guessing because of those brown eyes and his keen sense of obedience (see video). He’s warmly affectionate and as highly biddable as you’d want in a buddy. Not high strung, not squeal-y, not escape driven (those stereotypes about Huskies are hard to shake!) … This boy has ‘age-appropriate’ energy levels and after a good romp, will be a sit-at-your-feet pal during chill times and your good times hiking, camping Best Little Man. Now moshing with a group of dogs and being oh-so appropriate and fun. House trained, neutered, all vax done – He’s ready to go home. Watch him learn about life on our Instagram page (badrap_advocacy) Send us a note with your wish list for a new friend to get the ball rolling.

Story
Bella has always been an amazing dog, great with people & kids, great listener & easy to train, however, I adopted Bella during quarantine & I had a lot of time on my hands back then but now I am super busy with work & unable to give her the life she deserves. We are also expecting a baby in the new years & we know it’s in her best interest to find her a family that will have all the time In the world for her. She has been around my little siblings her whole life (4 & 7 years old) & has always showed love for them. Bella stays true to her breed & can also be protective of her owners when needed. She is the most loyal dog I’ve ever had & very playful. She is up to date with all her vaccines & shots. There will be a small rehoming fee to insure she goes to the right home & the new owners are committed to her. Along with adopting Bella, you will also receive everything you may need when she goes to a new home. (Kennel, baskets of toys/treats, food, collars, etc.)

Story
I adopted Queenie 2 years ago for my son from the Martinez Shelter. At the time I did not understand what Queenie’s need were or her history. They disclosed it to me while I already had her in hand and was signing paperwork. A little too late then. I have done my best to work with her and she is a REALLY good dog but I can’t provide for her what she needs. Queenie is a guard dog. She alerts when anyone is near the front door. If she picks you she will be 3 inches from you at all times. She herds with her nose and will direct you with her nose. She's is leash aggressive and does not like other dogs. She has never bit anyone or animal in my care. I can bathe her and sometimes cut her nails and she can go to the groomers sometimes but not all. She gets separation anxiety and needs lots of attention and exercise- I can’t give her these things. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is an excellent listener except she will want to get on the coach or bed no matter what.

Story
Page is a very friendly dog. She’s great with people and cats. When being introduced to other dogs treats are highly recommended. She gets very protective when out in public but does great with other dogs in her home. She’ll bark at dogs at the park but when directed she listens well. She does have arthritis in her joints, but we will have treats for you to give her for it. She’s kennel trained and potty trained. She usually spends the day outside and sleeps in her cage. Normally we open feed her, but because she gained some weight we have put her on a feeding schedule. We feed her twice a day but she adapts well so please feel free to change this to better fit your schedule. She loves to be outside in nature and go on walks. Her favorite place is the beach. She does love to run in the water so bring a towel along with her! We will greatly miss her but with our busy schedules we fear that she is not getting the attention that she needs.
