Story
Kaya is a blue eyed 5-year-old German Shepherd Husky mix who is affectionate, friendly, and great with kids and adults. She is truly a beautiful dog - people stop us daily to admire her. She thrives in an active home with an owner who enjoys running, hiking, or long walks. Kaya is house-trained, healthy, and well-behaved. She gets along well with our cat and is generally friendly with other dogs, but may do best as the only dog or with well-matched dog companions. She does really enjoy other friendly dogs! Although she is a very active breed, she is also a relaxed and sweet companion. She might thrive in a rural setting where she can have more space, like a ranch, but she is also very much a family dog and loves people. Due to several life changes and factors, we can no longer provide her with the active lifestyle she deserves, and we are looking for a loving home where she can thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion, Kaya could be the perfect fit!

Story
Meet Max, who is destined to be the king of your castle. This guy is the full package – a friendly, well-behaved adult who is just waiting for his forever home. Max walks well on leash and appears unconcerned about other dogs being around. He’s happy just to take you on a tour of the neighborhood, sniffing as he goes. Max has plenty of pep in his step, and would likely enjoy a hike or a run. He likes to be engaged, so an active household would be great for him. We think it’s likely that Max spent quite a bit of time outside at his previous home, so he’s now hoping for a warm bed and some TLC. Max appears to be housetrained and will make a fantastic addition to any home that’s lucky enough to snag him.

Story
Coyote is an apt moniker for this young lad: a little bit playful, a little bit shy, a little bit wild. Coyote is a great pup who is just growing up. He starts out a little unsure around humans, but once he figures out you’re there to take him out, he warms up pretty quickly. In the playroom, he will give you play bows and let you rub his soft belly. Coyote is also a good walker on leash and does not react to other dogs. He seems comfortable around them. He has bouts of playfulness and bursts of energy on walks, like any young dog should. He would make an excellent exercise buddy. He may have been running stray for a while, because Coyote arrived pretty skinny and exhibits some food possessiveness, so shelter staff are working on making him feel more secure with regular meals. This guy is ready to be your constant companion – come meet him soon.
