I need to rehome my German shepherd husky male mix. He is a very active dog that needs someone with patience and time to burn his energy. He loves attention and is playful. He is a very smart dog, and knows several commands. He’s a very loyal dog, and loves to cuddle, but not for too long. He’s usually cautious of strangers, not aggressive, but once he gets his sniffs in he’s happy and wants a lot of pets.

KitKat is another one of Candie's puppies! She's a super sweet girl. She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs to go potty. KitKat is very dog social! She is great with people of all ages! KitKat has a very bad allergy to Chicken. She cannot be fed any food containing chicken.

No Seniors or Very Small Children: Fiyero’s exuberance might be too much for physically unstable seniors or very small children (toddlers), so he’s best suited for a home without them. He would love a family/owner experienced with huskies or similar breeds! Fetch with Rope Toy: His favorite game is fetch, especially with a rope toy. He isn’t a fan of stuffed toys, but he loves anything else that he can chase and tug. High Energy: This active pup needs plenty of exercise and playtime to burn off his boundless energy. Leash Walking: Fiyero was a strong puller on the leash, but his foster family has him walking much better on a leash and reports he is easily trainable. He also has learned 'sit' and does it with enthusiasm when treats and meals are involved. Medically Stable:  Fiyero is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  Fiyero had eyelid surgery in early January and his vision is much improved (his eyelids are no longer rubbing on his corneas!).   It should continue to improve over time.   He also has been dewormed and had some preventative flea medication. Wants to Play:  Fiyero was tested with another dog at the shelter, and here is the video https://youtu.be/lSS3HVD7LH8.  We have found he is good with most dogs, but not all.  He really wants everyone to play with him. My name is Kennedy, and I would love to meet you! I am an 8 year old 54lb Beagle/Shepherd mix, and I came to Forever Loved with my roommate when my owner fell on some health issues and couldn’t take care of us any longer. I am a friendly guy, and although I don’t have the best manners, I am very safe, and wouldn’t hurt a fly! Don’t worry, I am very treat motivated, and would love to polish up on my “sit” and walking on a loose leash. I was house trained in my home, and have been using the doggy door in my kennel to go outside. The beagle part of me can be a bit noisy when I want your attention, so I probably wouldn’t be suitable for an apartment or condo with shared walls. I really enjoy going for walks and a “sniffari”, and I’ve been introduced to several other dogs in the shelter play yard and done fine. Truthfully, I really am a human social dog, and love petting and affection. Sometimes I think I’m small enough to snuggle on your lap. The vet said I’m healthy, but I definitely need to lose a few pounds. Hey, maybe you need to lose weight too! We can work on that together. I would love nothing more than to be your loyal and joyful companion. Please apply to meet me.
