Story
I need to rehome my German shepherd husky male mix. He is a very active dog that needs someone with patience and time to burn his energy. He loves attention and is playful. He is a very smart dog, and knows several commands. He’s a very loyal dog, and loves to cuddle, but not for too long. He’s usually cautious of strangers, not aggressive, but once he gets his sniffs in he’s happy and wants a lot of pets.

Story
We got Rocky in January 2024 from a local rescue. His estimated birthday is 05/10/2023. Rocky is a very sweet boy. He would need a family that is fairly active and has lots of time to give him the attention he needs. Rocky needs to be taken on long walks and preferably have other dogs his size/energy level to play with in a large backyard. Unfortunately, Rocky gets carsick. We have tried Benadryl, Cerenia, Trazadone, holding off food and nothing seems to work for him. So we would want him to be with a family that doesn’t need to travel with him much. He also does not like being alone. He is crate trained for the most part but does whine/cry and sometimes bites his crate when we are gone. It may be best for his next family to have at least one person consistently home. He knows the following commands: heel, sit, stand, paw, place, down, go lay down. He is also house broken. We would want a family that is willing to work with him on commands and reward him with treats.
