Story
Raquel is a sweet gentle 8 year old sheltie mix. She had one eye removed due to an infection. She is being fostered in a home with other dogs - some smaller and others bigger as well as a child. Raquel is spayed, up to date on her shots, and has no ongoing medical needs. She loves going to doggie daycare and enjoys being outdoors. She also walks well on a leash and does well in the car.. She does not have separation anxiety and would do well in any calm and loving family. If you live in Canada within 3 hours of Toronto and would like to meet Raquel and learn about our foster to adopt program, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com.

He was immediately taken into a rescue in Costa Rica where a long recovery started. Paquito has fully recovered into a handsome boy and wants to be with a forever family. He is a bit shy at first but with lots of treats he will be your best friend. Paquito is a 2 year old, male, sheltie/beagle mix, good with dogs, no cats, friendly to all, and simply needs a second chance. Weighing just 8 kg, I’m a small bundle of joy looking for my forever home! 🐶 My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I’ve been learning a lot at a training center, especially about walking on a leash. 🚶‍♂️ My Personality: • I’m super affectionate and love to rub against people, whether I know them or not. I enjoy being touched and petted. 🤗 • I haven’t met children under 13 yet, but I’m open to making new friends! 🧒 • You can lift me up by putting your arm under my belly. I don’t mind at all! 🐾 • I’ll show you my belly for some rubs, even if we just met! 🥰 • I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕 • I’m a bit scared of dogs that are bigger than me, but I’m friendly with dogs my size or smaller. 🐾 • High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me. 🐕‍🦺 • I might fight back if provoked, especially when toys or snacks are involved, so it’s best to introduce me to new dogs slowly. 🐶 • I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱 • I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳 • I’m still getting used to walking, so I might lie flat or panic if I’m scared.
