Story
Maxine is a 4 1/2 year old sheepadoodle. We got her in May of 2020 from her original breeder. She needed to be placed quickly as her breeder was having health issues. She is a very smart, willing to please dog who needs to be in a home with no other dogs, and with someone who can give her the attention she needs to become an excellent companion. It is a very difficult decision to rehome Maxine, but I am doing this for several reasons. First I am traveling a lot and just do not have the time to work with her as I should. Secondly, she and our other dog are increasingly fighting. While our two dogs have never bonded with each other, resource guarding has become worse and worse with Maxine. As I mentioned I am not able to spend the time I should with her to work on this issue. Maxine is a beautiful doodle with so much potential. We are really hoping to find her a forever home in which she can be loved and attended to as she deserves.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Is it a lamb?  Is it Yoda?  No, It's Lally! Many dogs are described as sweet, but seriously...just look at that face - click here. Lally came from TX and is slowly learning to trust the world around her. She is cautious and nervous meeting new people and figuring out new places, but once she knows you’re good, it's nothing but unconditional love. She is the best at leaning in for snuggles, pets, and kisses.  Her love language is many kisses to your face and sleeping in bed with her people, where starting and ending the day with belly rubs is a must! She may have never learned how to play as she has very little interest in toys and is not sure about other dogs. Her favorite part of the day is mealtime. Full butt wiggles and circles indicate just how excited she is. See here how she enjoys getting food from the treat ball and see  here  how happy carrots make her.   Lally will walk, and does great on a leash, but is most excited when she gets back home. She is working on being home alone and does okay gated in an open area on her own.  As time and her comfort level increase, she will be the best, easy-going companion for her quiet, people-around-most-of-the time home.
