Story
Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other s tates to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Name: Blue Age: 10 weeks Breed: Sharpei/Cattle dog mix Gender: male Weight: 6 lbs Good with kids: yes, but typical puppy nibbles Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: New London Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Blue is an adorable little guy thats on the search for his forever family. He is a pretty typical puppy at the moment, not potty trained, kennel trained or anything trained for that matter. He had a rough start to life when he was brought to the shelter at just 2 weeks old with his 8 siblings due to his mom's passing. It was believed that she was either poisoned or shot. Either way, our amazing partners bottle fed these sweet babies and once old enough for the journey to Wisconsin, they headed our way. Let's give a big cheesy welcome to the cheese litter. ✨ Important Details: DNA results are posted for full transparency. ⚠️ Please read before applying: Because of the top two breeds (Sharpei & Cattle Dog), we are being very intentional with placement: - No rentals -Homes with children must have prior experience with herding breeds. Cattle Dogs are known for their natural herding instincts, which can include nipping, especially during puppyhood. This isn’t aggression—it’s instinct—but it does require understanding, training, and proper guidance. The ideal home: This pup will need a home that understands both breeds: Cattle Dog side: Active, structured, and committed to training and mental stimulation. These dogs thrive when they have a “job” and consistent guidance. Sharpei side: Loyal, independent, and naturally more reserved. Sharpeis tend to be protective of their people and can be wary of strangers, so early socialization and confident leadership are key. They do best in homes that respect their space, understand their boundaries, and provide calm, consistent structure. Overall, the best fit is a confident, experienced dog home that can balance activity, training, and proper socialization to help this pup grow into a well-rounded adult. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.May 14, 2026, 11:21 pm
