Meet Hershey! Age: Senior Weight: 46lbs Breed: Shar Pei mix Good with: dogs and kids (not cat tested) House trained: Yes, also wears a belly band when left alone for prolonged period of time Crate trained: Yes Special needs: Regular ear cleanings to avoid infections This pup is sweeter than chocolate! Hershey is a great mix of introvert and extrovert, enjoys meeting new people and animals but is happy to then take a nap in his favorite cozy spot. He's currently fostered in a fun home with lots of other dogs, goats and chickens! He has not been cat tested but has also zero prey drive, so his foster suspects he would be fine with kitty siblings too. Kids are great and he would enjoy living in a home with older kids, especially if they know how to give him treats! Hershey is up for anything, just happy to be your sidekick or relax close by. He is well mannered and knows basic commands. He is dog friendly, but prefers slow intros with bigger dogs and he's not afraid to be clear about his boundaries. He's great on car trips so happy to tag along to dog friendly places, enjoying getting to say hi to everyone. He's then happy to come home for a snooze! Hershey is great on a leash, but would also enjoy a yard of his own. He's looking for a family that can appreciate how sweet he can be and is ready to welcome him with open arms, could this home be yours? Hershey is fostered in the Cottage Grove, WI area Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Jocko is a very handsome and unique-looking boy who would love to find a family to call his own. He keeps his kennel very clean which leads us to believe he would be easy to house-train. He is smart and enjoys playing with his toys and in water. He likes to meet new people but can be a bit slower to warm up to men. A meet and greet would be needed with children and other dogs in the home. We are unsure how he would interact with cats.If you love his wrinkly face as much as we do, please visit our website and read our adoption requirements. She enjoys spending time with other dogs and loves playing with them. Cookie is always up for a walk anytime her people are available. When the time comes for relaxation she will accommodate that as well. You won't want to miss an opportunity to meet this wonderful soul.
