We typically have adoption events on Wednesdays 5-7pm, Fridays 6-8pm, and Saturdays 11am to 3pm. Our adoption center is located at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Suite 101, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. It's important that you keep an eye on your emails for any changes or updates during the adoption process. Old Dominion Humane Society is a volunteer based organization. We are run completely by volunteers, who also have full time jobs, so we appreciate your patience. Currently, the average timeframe for a response to your application is 1 week. Chloe, and her sister Honey, are absolute sweethearts when it comes to personality! They are full of energy, love, and life to give! They were found running loose together as strays, and sadly, no one came to reclaim them. They were covered in scars and had a bad skin allergy. We aren't sure of what life was like before coming to our rescue, but they were not loved properly. Chloe loves Kongs, she's crate trained and has a ball running in her foster's large fenced in yard. She is slowly becoming the perfect house companion and enjoying life as a loved companion, rather than an outside dog. Chloe is very stocky in size and she has the most adorable nub tail. She plays great with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats.
