This is Dani: This spunky girl has so much character! If you look at her videos when she’s trying to play she does this thing where she shakes her head. She sometimes looks like she’s telling me what’s up cause how she does her head nods. She jumps up with excitement like a very tiny bull. She runs around with confidence and loves to explore. The dogs barking at her don’t seem to bother her. She may even be patriotic lol!! 😂 She seemed to take a lot of interest in the flag and our soldier statue. :) Dani is the epitome of "blondes have more fun!!" So if you and your family are looking for a firecracker who loves her country and her friends, adopt her!!! Hi, I’m Diamond! I am sweet, gentle black female Shar-Pei, about four years old. I went on quite a long journey when I came into Rescue, with so many nice people helping me and did very well with the long car trip. I enjoy riding in the car. Foster Mommy says that I am a good girl, polite and well mannered. I am totally housebroken. I don’t bother anything when left inside alone for hours. I want to happily hang out with Foster Mom inside or outside and love to gently play with my human. I will go in my kennel or play outside/inside by myself but would love to be by your side very well behaved all day. I’m really not interested in toys. I am okay with most other dogs. Foster Mom says that I am an all around great sweet snuggle Pei. I am ready for my forever home! Do I sound like the girl for you? If so, please fill out an application and ask for DIAMOND!

We do not accept checks for adoption fees. Please remember to bring a martingale collar and leash (non-retractable) with you the day of the adoption. We typically have adoption events on Wednesdays 5-7pm, Fridays 6-8pm, and 11 to 3pm. Our adoption center is located at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Suite 101, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. It's important that you keep an eye on your emails for any changes or updates during the adoption process. Old Dominion Humane Society is a volunteer based organization.
