Hi, I'm Boulder, a robust and loving brown Pit bull. At 6 years young, I'm a big boy, weighing 97 pounds, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a gentle giant. I'm neutered and all my shots are up to date, so I'm as healthy as can be. I'm a pro when it comes to house manners and walking on a leash, and I adore people of all ages. I'm the kind of guy who is content to be your shadow, lounging by your side, but I also love to stretch my legs with long walks and a good roll in the grass. My eyes will tell you stories, and my main goal is to make you happy. I enjoy family time, but I'm also independent enough to be fine on my own. Winter's been good to me—I've enjoyed it with a bit of bulking up and lazing about, thanks to my love for peanut butter sandwiches and other snacks. But I am working on slimming back down to my summer body. If you're looking for a loyal companion for walks, picnics, or just some cozy snuggles, look no further. She would be a great hiking companion! Uzi will ‘sit’ for treats and takes them gently. She loves to play! Especially if that play involves a squeaker. Meet Sky! This gorgeous pup may just be the total package! Sky is an excellent leash walker. She may give an occasional tug but is easily redirected. Sky appreciates a tasty treat! She will `sit` for them and accept them gently. Sky really likes toys. She has a great time running around the play yards with them in her mouth and giving them a toss now and then. Sky is house and crate-trained, has lived with children, and is also dog-friendly. She really does well with dogs that match her size and energy. Sky is a playful and affectionate pup who would be a great addition to any family. Come in and meet her today!Easy out. Pulls hard on leash. Loves treats and takes them gently. Used to get her back into her kennel, she doesn`t want to go back in. Loves squeaky toys. Doesn`t wan to go back in! Had to go in with her and put lots of treats on the bed so I could get out. Affectionate, chill, curious, gentle, food-motivated, and playful. `Sky is timid but wiggly and happy! Very sweet. Came right over to me immediately when I sat in the yard. Sweetie.` (Kathy W)

She found herself in an overcrowded Houston TX shelter then was attacked by her kennelmate THEN was placed on the euthanasia list due to length of stay. We couldn't let her story end there. She just trembled in the shelter and was terrified. Out of the shelter she's a totally different dog. She learns to trust quickly and will be your best buddy. She adores other dogs and loves to play so must be adopted into a home with atleast one other dog. Super sweet. Has a ball having the zoomies and playing with toys.
