Hi, I`m Coffee! Like the drink, I`m the best way to start your day! :) I love cuddles, lounging with you, and playing with my toys. Sometimes I`ll even run around the yard with you and carry a stick! I also like nice walks filled with things to sniff and investigate. I get along well with other doggies and with kitty friends, although sometimes kitties don`t want to be my friends and that makes me sad. :( My foster mom says I`m a `carnivore,` because I like meat, eggs, and cheese, but I don`t like peanut butter. Yuck! My past is unknown, but I retreat from loud noises and sudden movements, so I might be more relaxed in a home without tiny humans. I came to IndyHumane very skinny and without a lot of fur, so I`m working on gaining weight again and growing my fur back. My foster mom says I get cuter by the day, and I think so, too! Apply to meet me so I can go to my furever home. I can`t wait to cuddle with you!

Meet Sky! Sky is a Shar Pei mix and is a perfect size. He is 34lbs and one of our senior dogs. We are estimating him to be around 8 years old but his is still a playful guy. He likes to run and chase balls and feel alive! Ellie, Mozzorellie, or NFL linebacker are just a few of her names came to us after quite the heist of sneaking out of another shelter and going on an adventure for months. Ellie arrived unsure, overstimulated, planning the next big escape, and not sold that people are actually nice. Over the past year at SOAR, she’s shown incredible progress in all ways. Ellie has never one time had an accident in her room, appears dog friendly, loves all people big and small, but we’re unsure on cats. Ellie is all about speed and playing chicken, she’ll run full steam ahead and ditch at the last second leaving you with soiled undies and a muscle cramp from bracing for impact. You WON’T find better forehead wrinkles, not even at a nursing home. The perfect home for Ellie would be active, older or no children, only dog or bigger dog friends, and if adopting to a house will minimally need a 6ft fully-fenced back yard.
