She’s spayed, sweet, and has already completed a year of training, giving her a great foundation to continue building on.Harper is a smart girl who thrives with structure, enrichment, and a calm environment. She enjoys companionship and would do best with a family that can help keep her mind and body active. She has previously lived with kids and did well with them, though it has been some time since she’s been around them. During her assessment, she didn’t seem to mind other dogs, but she would likely be happiest in a calmer home where she can relax and feel secure.We believe Harper will thrive with adopters who understand her needs and can provide the right setup—such as a sturdy crate—along with continued enrichment, structure, and routine. With the right home and guidance, Harper has so much love, loyalty, and companionship to give. Meet Hermione! This adorable 2½-month-old Shar Pei baby girl is as sweet as they come. She’s very playful and loves her toys, always ready for a fun game or adventure! Hermione is extremely loving and enjoys nothing more than sitting in your lap, soaking up cuddles, and giving lots of sweet puppy kisses. She’s a true cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. She is currently learning potty training and crate training and is making great progress for such a young pup. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate puppy who will grow into a loyal lifelong companion, Hermione might be the perfect addition to your family! She first came to us the day we reopened the shelter in February, and although she was adopted once, she sadly had to be returned in May. At only 2 years old, Arwin has spent far too much time in the shelter, and she’s ready to leave this chapter behind. When Arwin first arrived, she was terrified and trembled constantly, but over time, she’s grown more confident and comfortable in our care. She’s a stunning Shar Pei mix who is deeply loyal and protective of the people she loves. This protective nature is part of what makes Arwin so special—but it’s also why she was returned. She needs an experienced owner who understands guardian breeds and can give her the guidance she needs. Arwin would do best in an adult-only home with no young children. She will need to meet any potential dog siblings before adoption to ensure a good match. We offer trial adoptions so you can spend time getting to know Arwin before making your final decision. At just 2 years old, Arwin still has a lifetime of love and companionship to give. She’s been with us for far too long, and while we adore her, we’re afraid she’s being overlooked.
