Meet Rubble Do you love wrinkly foreheads?? Well we have the boy for you!! This sweet young guy was picked up stray by a county shelter, and after 2 months of somehow not being adopted he was marked as "Urgent", and would have been euthanized for space if not rescued. One of our amazing fosters raced over to the shelter to meet him, kid tested him with her own children, and gave him two thumbs up as being an all around wonderful pup! He is in a home with kids aged 1-10, and lots of other dogs, and he is doing great! He is a snuggler, and bonus, he seems to be housetrained, too! This beautiful lady is Bunny! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 10/29, and no one has come to reclaim her. We think she is Shar-Pei mixed with maybe a rabbit, hence the name Bunny! Check out those ears...aren't they great?! Bunny is extremely sweet and friendly. She knows several commands including sit, lay down, and stay. Bunny is approximately 2 years old, and she weighs 79 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Bunny is waiting patiently in run 79; her ID # is 5886. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

I have had Bruce since he was 6 weeks. He has been professionally trained. He will be great to the right owner who has experience working with dogs. He is well loved here, however, we have a young baby and we cannot expect the baby to know how to properly handle him and we are nervous for her safety as he does have some aggression concerns if not properly handled. New owner must have a lot of experience and no young children. He has a lot of energy and usually gets along great with other dogs. Loves playing fetch, taking long walks/jogs, and being very active.
