Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. My foster mom calls me Cici, and I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home. I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, I will hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm a ten-year-old Shar Pei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children but my foster mom thinks I shouldn't share my home with children under the age of 13-15. Meet Rubble Do you love wrinkly foreheads?? Well we have the boy for you!! This sweet young guy was picked up stray by a county shelter, and after 2 months of somehow not being adopted he was marked as "Urgent", and would have been euthanized for space if not rescued. One of our amazing fosters raced over to the shelter to meet him, kid tested him with her own children, and gave him two thumbs up as being an all around wonderful pup! He is in a home with kids aged 1-10, and lots of other dogs, and he is doing great! He is a snuggler, and bonus, he seems to be housetrained, too! Rubble is now neutered and ready for his forever. Bandit is a big 'ol dog that just wants attention and to be loved! This handsome guy has startling eyes, one blue, the other, brown. He loves car rides, especially when headed for a nice walk! His day is complete when he gets to splash in water on a hot day.... or when he has a bone or chew toy! His previous owners dumped him in my friend's yard, knowing she was kind to him...They didn't want him anymore as he grew larger than they expected. Though she has been caring for him short term, she is unable to keep him due to landlord restrictions. (This author is helping her find a home for him.) Bandit is a compete sweetheart, but he does try to jump when he first greets you because he gets excited, but you tell him sit and he will. He is excited about some love, a walk and belly rub!
