Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!     Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home.  I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, and I will even hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm an 11-year-old Sharpei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children, so my foster mom thinks I should stick to adults and teens because I may not do well with the energy of a younger child. Anyway, that's my story. I'd love to meet and get to know you.     Apply to adopt me at www. angelsrescue.org/adopt and search for me, Cylana! Make a donation in this dog's name at http://www.angelsrescue.org/donate. Bunny is approximately 2 years old, and she weighs 79 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Bunny is waiting patiently in run 79; her ID # is 5886. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
Hi there! My name is Star, and I’m a 10-month-old Sharpei mix with a stunning grey coat that gleams like a moonlit night. At 35 pounds, I’m the perfect size for all kinds of adventures. I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 12/03/2024, along with my sweet sister, Noelle. While adopting us both isn’t required, we’d love to stay together if you have room in your heart and home for double the love! I’m full of energy, joy, and love—perfect for someone who enjoys running, hiking, or has a big backyard where I can stretch my legs and play. Don’t let my active side fool you, though—I’m also as sweet as can be, and I’ll melt your heart with my wagging tail and affectionate nature. I’m spayed and up to date on all my shots; I will be tested for heartworms and microcipped upon adoption. If you’re ready for an active, playful, and lovable companion (or two!), come meet me at cage #25. My ID is 6618. Let’s turn the next chapter of our lives into a beautiful adventure together! Story
Hi there! My name is Noelle, and I’m a 10-month-old Sharpei mix with a sleek grey coat that makes me look as elegant as a winter morning. I may be small at just 23 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got a big personality and plenty of love to give! I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 12/03/2024 with my sister Star, who’s my best friend in the whole world. While you’re welcome to adopt us separately, we’d be over the moon to stay together if you have room for two sweet girls. I’m full of energy and would love a home where I can run, play, and let my joyful spirit shine. Whether it’s joining you on runs or zooming around a backyard, I’ll make every day a little brighter. I’m also incredibly sweet, and my big heart is just waiting to meet someone like you. I'm spayed and up to date on all my shots; I will be tested for heartworms and microchipped upon adoption. If you’re looking for an adorable, loving, and energetic companion (or two!), come meet me at cage #25. My ID is 6617. Let’s make this holiday season unforgettable by starting our new lives together! Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Fee if Adopted by January 10th!   What's not to love about me? I'm a cute, petite, super snuggler and I heard a guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which would explain a few things. I love the other dogs in my foster home, but I would not be good on a farm. Little critters trigger my "chase" drive, so please do not bring cats or rabbits.   I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, but I don't walk nicely on a leash. However, with lots of patience and training, you can teach me. You see, I'm pretty unruly on walks and even scream when overexcited, so teaching me how to redirect and refocus would be our number one priority. But a home with a nice, secure, tall fence will be great. That way, I won't get the leash crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.     Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th !  So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 11-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Story
Hi, I’m Pistol Pete, my fosters call me Petey, I’m a strong, healthy, playful, boy that likes to play, run, fetch and am full of energy. I am just one years old, and hoping to find my forever home. I would love a fenced in yard, so I can play and sometimes just enjoy laying in the sunshine. I get along with other dogs, children, and I do well out and about on the town meeting new people and friends.    I might be a tripod, but I don’t know it, I have no problems with stairs or jumping into your lap if you’d like me to. I’m a loving, cuddly boy and I’m a fast learner, as you can see, I’m quite the handsome boy as well! Oh, and I absolutely love care rides.    Please consider adopting  me as I would be a loyal, fun and loving companion.
