Kopi is a smart and loyal dog but also very protective of one of the owners to a point that she started to go after our other older sharpei. She just turned 5 years old. She is house trained and listens to some basic commands. Need experienced adopter who understands Sharpei traits and no other dog household. She watches TV with us and is a couch potato. Loves her walks daily and her chew toys. She does not have any of the typical Sharpei skin, eyes, health, etc. issues and only need her bathe once every couple months. She is an indoor dog but she also likes exploring our fenced in backyard daily. She will not be suitable to be in any big and busy city environment as she does not like crowds and traffic noises.

The sweetest 5 year old sharpei mix. He almost didn't make it out of the shelter... he was so very sick, depressed and had given up. I don't think anyone had ever told him what a good boy he is. We couldn't leave him him, he needed a chance. It was touch and go for the first few days, but with good meds and round the clock care, he came back. He wagged his tail, and opened his eyes, and his soul returned. A month later and he is happy, healthy and a goofy boy who loves everyone he meets. He is quiet and low key, loves his kennel and is good in the house. He would actually be a perfect apartment companion, all he wants is a home, and love. He deserves to be told he is a good boy. Bruno is such a good boy and just looking for someone to love. When his prior family lost their housing they had to give up poor Bruno and the shelter begged us to take him, as he is such a wonderful boy and boy were they right. Bruno is Crate and house trained and knows commands (come, sit, stay, paw). Bruno is a big love, who is quiet and reserved. Bruno is absolutely wonderful on leash, he loves his morning strolls with our volunteer. He would make an excellent companion for anyone who take long walks and needs a buddy. Bruno has a very chill relaxed personality and would flourish in a home that would have the same type of energy. Brunos ideal home would be one without small children since fast movements make him nervious. Bruno prefers to hang out with female dogs over males since he likes to show off in front of the ladies. It was freezing cold weather the day I was abandoned at a gas station in Von Ormy, Texas, and bless my lucky stars when a customer rescued me. That nice lady is now my foster mom, and I am now safe and sound, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find a forever home! My foster mom wants you to know that, besides having a lovely personality, I am also smart as a whip. I catch on to things very quickly, and figured out the doggy door on day 2 just by watching the other dogs. I am a friendly girl with everyone, kids, strangers, cats, and dogs, and I play very nicely and appropriately. Even at my young age, I understand dog social cues, and won't bother the senior dogs by trying to play with them. I have already learned some basic commands, and it’s obvious that I aim to please. I am affectionate and snuggly, not the kissy type, so I won't be slobbering all over you, but I love pets and snuggles and will cozy up beside you whenever you sit down on the couch to relax. I enjoy dog toys and playing tug-of-war with anyone willing, and I love dog treats. I am already well-behaved, housebroken, and rarely bark. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bebe is 1 years old at the time of intake in September 2024, so he would be about 2 years old as of August 2025. Bebe is good with people and other dogs. He can be very active, giving lots of kisses and jumping around. He can also be very sweet and cuddly. He is not a fan of water.Bebe was found neglected on the streets, attacked by other dogs, trying to survive the best he could.
