Texas adoption only Bramble is the ultimate companion dog for your dog that you didn't know you need. He is a happy adult dog, 17# scruffy little terrier, who loves to cuddle & play with other dogs. He is also fine with the company of cats. Humans though, take longer to earn his trust due to Bramble's traumatic past. With patience & time, he will eventually come up to you for gentle head pets...as long as you don't look at him! He is enthusiastic about food, will take treats from your hand, likes routine. Although timid, he is NOT a biter. He even occasionally enjoys bathing & brushing. Bramble is so deserving of a safe & loving home with at least one doggie buddy. Is that home yours? Hi, I'm Buddy! I am an 11 month old Mini Aussiedoodle on the hunt for my forever home.  I may be a bit shy when we first meet, but give me a moment and I'll be your loyal friend. I'm young, full of life and just need a bit of patience. I promise, I'm worth it. I love to play, but I also enjoy quiet moments. I'm not just looking for a home, I'm looking for a family, someone to share my love with. I promise to bring joy and happiness to your life. Will you be my forever friend? Adopting me means giving a second chance to a dog who's eager to love. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Bailey Bee is a busy Bee she flies one spot to another and another (she bounces all over the furniture and her persons. She loves everyone but wants to chase the cats ( I don't have dog friendly cats so they run) She is potty trained through a doggy door but for some reason I still find little puddles and little poos in the house. The outside world is very scary for her as she had lived a sheltered life until she came to me. As far as car rides she's ready to go but she shakes the shivers the whole time But getting better at it. She is also learning how to play and what she can play with. Trying to teach her to quit biting while playing. Local adoption fee is $400. Out of state adoption fee is $700 This includes transportation to your area. An additional $50 fuel surcharge is in effect at this time.
