She was given as a gift when was 2 month old born in September 07, 2024, she is not 4 months, she is a loving and super energetic puppy, loves tummy rubs and cuddle with you as you watch TV, unfortunately I am having financial issues and need to move out at the moment and it breaks my heart not be able to give her the lifestyle she needs. Cookie is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Cookie is a female, possible Rottweiler mix and is approximately 1 1/2 years old (December 14th), and she is around 55 pounds. -Has been with the shelter since January 2024 -Cookie is dog, kid, and adult friendly; sweet, cuddly, clever, and high-energy. -When taken into the yard to play, she is very excited and does jump quite high to get your attention. After a few minutes, she does relax and lay down in the yard. She was the easiest dog I've ever had to take pictures of. She just laid down and looked pretty! -Cookie is very patient and will sit and wait. Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. Left to herself in a world she had never experienced and doesn’t understand, Petunia was picked up as a stray shortly after 4th of July. Likely traumatized by the fireworks, scared by all the strange sights, sounds and smells in a high-kill shelter, she made it out alive only because the shelter staff recognized her strengths and worked hard to find a placement, and RED took a chance that the frightened, shutdown girl they met would blossom into a beautiful ambassador of her breed. While Petunia is still a work in progress, we would like to find a home where she can really blossom with training and further socialization. Petunia is 2-3 years old and small for a Rottie at 75 lbs. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. She has the intelligence of her breed and loves to play with her male foster brother. She is still scared of the big world and of strangers but she adjusts more quickly, and we believe she will eventually be that ambassador. Petunia needs a home with adults who are committed to training. She will not do well with children at this point and she has not been tested with cats. She will need a well-fenced yard where she can safely play fetch, which she loves. A yard with underground (Invisible) fencing will not be considered for placement. Meet our very own Yogi Bear! This medium/big lovebug is so ready for a better life! Yogi is handsome, loving and oh so sweet. Yogi had to have a lot of hair cut off as he was so dirty and matted, but with his clean up his fur is so soft, and his is just the biggest cuddle bear. Yogi is a Rottweiler Shepherd mix and weighs in at 59 pounds. Brushing up on his commands (sit, shake and more!) and house manners, Yogi is doing so well at his foster home, learning about comfy home life, and loving hands. He was a stray in L.A. and we believe he lived most of his life outside- but he is HUGELY mellow! He absolutely loves to be touched and brushed. Yogi is neutered and vaccinated as a part of his adoption donation and he is truly ready to find his forever family!
