Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Well, HOWDY!!! I still can't believe i am IN TEXAS!! My story may be a little convoluted but suffice it to say... the OK Corral has nothing on me! I was not fighting the outlaws.. i was not fighting at all! I was just trying to figure out why I was saved and in a wonderful rescuers home.... then... back into a high kill shelter?? UNTIL, I was saved by ANOTHER rescuer and was transported from Louisiana to TEXAS and here I am! I LOVE everyone, I want a home that will walk me a couple of times a day and then chill out with me on their couch :) I don't have a whole bunch of energy but that is PERFECT for a lower energy home. I came to the rescue with heart worms but am going to complete my treatment by Christmas!! What a gift that will be! I am now looking for my family, someone who will love me for who I am.. a little low rider, kinda chunky but as loving as the day is long! ADOPT ME!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Marcie, a sweet Boxer/Lab mix who has the softest coat you will ever feel. Marcie's a well-mannered, affectionate girl, looking for a warm lap, gentle pets, and daily walks. Marcie had a rough start in life--when she was a puppy, a car hit her, breaking both of her legs. The nice vets fixed her right up (you'd never know her legs had been damaged!), and she's been in a warm, loving family ever since. Due to some changes in circumstances, she's now seeking another family to join. Marcie is about 7 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. She has the cutest blonde eye lashes and warm, liquid brown eyes. She's friendly, and loves to go on car rides and meet new people, and especially loves to go shopping at Lowe's. She just a big mush! Marcie's looking for a home as an only pet--we know there a lot of those out there, so please, if you'd like to shower Marcie with love for the rest of her life, write us at pals@psknet.com for an application.
