*Update 2.0- Dallas was again adopted and returned when he became "too dependent" on his people. *Update - Dallas was adopted but returned after a nip to the adopter. Acclimation to a new home and family (especially a Rottweiler) takes weeks to months. He needs a patient family to take their tome building a relationship and taking things slow as he adjusts. Ask us for more information on his learned history from the recent home and strategies to help him settle in. DALLAS is a new resident at VBACAC. He is just about 2 years old and a big boy weighing at 100lbs. We even know his birthday, April 22, 2022. Dallas was surrendered through no fault of his own but instead housing issues. He has lived with 6-year-old children with whom he was friendly and playful. Dallas was allowed to roam free in his home when left alone. He also loves his own doggie bed. He is house trained and loves to play with any kind of toy, balls, frisbees, squeaky toys, and tug toys. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side.
