Story
Missy is almost 5 years old. She was the runt of the litter. She is a great dog, very sweet and loves to be pet. She is house trained and crate trained. She doesn’t need a lot of activity but would love a walk to sniff. She likes treats but will take hostage of a bone. Unfortunately she has developed littermate syndrome to her sibling and has gotten aggressive towards them. I’ve been having to keep them separate which is getting impossible to do with 2 small children. Missy is great with our older dog and other dogs we meet. We feel this is in her best interest. She is so sweet and will be missed!

Story
Mocha is my beautiful Rottweiler, and this is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I got her from a breeder who has since passed away, and she has been an incredible companion. She is 4 years old, full of life, playful, quiet, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. She has no aggressive tendencies and truly just wants love and closeness. Mocha will come with her crate, toys, and her shot records. She does have a peanut butter allergy, but aside from that she has no food aggression and eats on command. She has never had issues around other animals and she’s lived peacefully with a cat her entire life, and while she hasn’t played with other dogs much, she never shown aggression toward them. Rehoming her is heartbreaking, but due to a new job opportunity and after exhausting every other possible option, I’m left with no choice. My only wish is to find her a safe, loving home where she can continue to be cherished the way she deserves.

Story
💎🐾 Meet Crystal — A Diamond in the Rough, Waiting for Her Person 🐾💎 Some dogs shine the brightest once they feel safe — and Crystal is one of those truly special souls. Crystal is a 2–3-year-old, 55-pound, spayed boxer/pittie mix with a gorgeous brown coat and a striking black muzzle that perfectly matches her soulful eyes. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush into relationships — she takes a little time to warm up — but once you’re in, you’re in. And the bond she offers is something truly meaningful. At first, Crystal may be a bit unsure with new people. But give her patience, kindness, and a chance to settle, and you’ll see her blossom into a playful, affectionate companion who genuinely enjoys being with her person. She loves getting out of her kennel, heading off on long walks, and exploring the world at her own pace — nose down, heart open. 💛 What Makes Crystal Special: Affectionate and playful once she’s comfortable Enjoys long walks and outdoor adventures Does well with many dogs (meet & greets always required!) A surprisingly big fan of bath time — she stands perfectly still and soaks up the love An introvert at heart who would thrive in a calmer home without lots of visitors Crystal may get a little jumpy when she’s excited — she just can’t help herself — but with consistency and understanding, she’ll shine even brighter. She’s not looking for chaos or crowds… she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees past first impressions and understands that the best relationships take time. If you’re someone who values quiet connection, loyalty, and watching a dog truly come into her own, Crystal could be the one you’ve been waiting for. 🏡 Crystal is available through Hopewell Animal Services. Come meet her, give her a moment, and let her show you just how beautiful she really is. 💎🐾
