Story
Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues.

Story
This boy is the last of the litter still looking for a home. He is very friendly, loves to play and would love an active family. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't have to be the alpha. He will need all the puppy training as he's never been inside of a house. He is a quick learner and is learning manners when greeting people (he's a bit jumpy). He is a fun boy who just wants to have a good time. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

This big lug is a relaxed, playful companion. He is a perfect gentleman in his kennel, calm and happy to receive affection. While he generally walks well on a leash, he occasionally pulls lightly if he's in a hurry or spots something interesting – like tasty, tasty treats. He has been friendly with the dogs and people he meets. Gordon loves a good toy, tossing it around and making it squeak. He is happy to play tug with you and then lie down and receive gentle rubs. Gordon is also an outdoorsman; he enjoys climbing and will be a great hiking companion. This sweet love bug is a big boy so he would do better in a home with older kids who can manage a strong dog.

To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event he will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/. (*Please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending each event.*) Meet Judd, who’s a real stud—handsome, sweet, and strong! This 2-year-old Rottie mix is friendly and outgoing, with a heart of gold! Wherever he goes, he loves to make friends—both 2- and 4-legged! This fun-loving guy must think he’s a hound because he has a bit of a nose for adventure. On walks, he takes his time sniffing out his surroundings, always on the hunt for something new and interesting to explore. He gets very excited to meet new dog pals and can start to pull, but that’s just because he’s so eager to meet a new buddy. But with some guidance, leash training, and yummy treats, which he will more than happily sit for, Judd will be politely strutting his stuff in no time. Judd also loves attention and pets. He will always make an effort to be closer to you, leaning in for more love. He is a true love bug, always kind and soliciting affection! As strong and excitable as Judd is, we recommend that he go to a home with older kids who can keep up with his playful, high-energy nature. This good-looking, lively boy is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to grow, explore, and share his endless enthusiasm for life. Is that home with you?

Story
https://foha.org/pet/mason/ Hi there! I'm Mason! I certainly am an adorable Rottie mix who loves and plays hard. I am a pro when it comes to games of fetch. I'll perform all sorts of acrobats, even jumping in the air and twisting in every direction to catch a ball! I'm even learning to bring the balls back! I love car (or truck) rides. And I never met a trail that I did not want to explore. I meet everyone at my kennel with either a toy in my mouth or my food bowl. I am so happy to show them off to everyone. I have a full body wiggle when my favorite people are coming to get me out for a walk. I like other dogs with proper introductions. When I find a dog I like, I'll run & play until we're both dizzy with exhaustion. I'm a true "ladies man and would thrive in a home with another delightful female companion. I can be a bit shy at first, but then turn on that southern charm. I need an experienced owner and I need to be introduced to strangers slowly. But once I trust, I will enjoy cuddling in your lap. If you are willing and able to put the time into training me I will be sure to do my best to learn. Like most Rotties, I form strong bonds with those I love. I'm what they call a "diamond-in-the-ruff who will make a great life-long companion. I have been waiting a long time for my forever home. Loving, loyal, full of life. Come meet me!

Story
Bubba is a loving dog that enjoys a lot of attention, the more pets the better.  He is also apt to hug back, and this can be quite charming.  He really wants to be a 45# lap dog!  He is good around any human and dog, willing to meet all.  He may be a little cautious at first, but then just wants to play upon a few good sniffs!  He loves playing with a new string toy he got and the Lazy Dog and loves to play tug. He is also learning to drop it. He is a hound and has a natural prey drive so he would be a challenge in a house with cats or other little critters.  Due to this, he is working hard on walking at “heel” and it is coming along well.  He does love his long walks!  He jumps at the chance at a fun walk… especially if he meets someone new along the way. He also gets the zoomies at home which is fun. He is crate trained and quiet in a crate.  He goes in the crate willingly on his own and with a few training treats he will go in when you want him to.   Bubba sleeps through the night with no whining or accidents.  He is also housebroken with no accidents. Bubba did well with his first grooming and was no problem with his nails clipped. He would enjoy having another dog his new home.  He is currently learning “sit”, “where is it?”, and “come”.  Bubba would love a home where he has the stimulation of adequate play/walk/training times and will thrive and be a great dog!Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org February 21, 2025, 8:51 pm

Story
Meet Boo, an adorable 10-month-old Terrier/Boxer mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! 😍With a sweet and funny personality, Boo is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your life. Although Boo is deaf, this does not dampen his vibrant spirit; in fact, it only adds to his charm and resilience. He approaches life with a playful attitude, proving that nothing can hold him back. Boo communicates in his own unique ways, showcasing his goofy nature and ability to connect with those around him. He loves to engage with his environment, whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring new places, or curling up for some cozy cuddle time. His affectionate disposition makes him a fantastic companion who thrives on human interaction and companionship. Due to some separation anxiety, Boo would do best in a home where someone works remotely or spends a significant amount of time at home. This arrangement would allow him to receive the love and attention he craves. While he's not a fan of being crated, Boo is proudly house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Boo is incredibly adaptable and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal fit for families or anyone looking for a loving furry friend. His playful antics and loving nature create a warm atmosphere, ensuring that your home is filled with joy. Boo is searching for a loving family that will embrace him and help him flourish. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a spirited and charming companion into your life, Boo could be the perfect match for you!
