Story
Introducing Daphne, a charming 8-month-old Rottweiler mix who is ready to find her forever family! 🐾🥰 With her striking features and warm personality, she captures the hearts of everyone she meets. Daphne is not just beautiful; she’s also incredibly intelligent and learns new commands and tricks with ease. Her quick wit makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Daphne has a delightful mix of snuggly affection and playful energy. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch or bounding around in the yard, she brings joy and warmth to every moment. Her favorite activities include going for leisurely walks, where she can explore the world around her, and taking car rides, which she enjoys immensely. The thrill of the wind in her fur and the chance to discover new places makes her tail wag with excitement. One of Daphne's standout qualities is her gentle nature with children. She has a knack for connecting with them, making her an ideal companion for families looking for a loving pet. However, Daphne would prefer to be the only furry family member in the household. She craves all the attention and affection she can get, and being the sole pet allows her to form a deep bond with her human companions. Daphne is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and looking for a loving home where she can thrive and be showered with love and care. If you're searching for a loyal, snuggly friend who also has a playful spirit, Daphne might just be the perfect match for you. Open your heart and home to this sweet girl, and she will surely fill your life with endless affection and joy! ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Story
Hunter will be 2 years old in January 2025. We got him from a breeder for my kids. I got him trained by a K9 professional dog trainer. I would like for someone who has experience with Rottweiler to be his new family. Hunter has a lot of energy. Also, if you have a backyard or land space, that would be good for Hunter. We have decided it would be best to rehome Hunter as we have decided that our home is not best suitable for his personality. Hunter is strong-willed which is why we request someone who either has experience with large breeds or is willing to put in the necessary work with him. Overall he is a sweet and kind dog who has some moments. One thing that is important to note is that he does not appreciate his toys being touched nor his ears which he will respond with a growl. We understand that this is normal for his breed but we believe that it is not the best for our household. We hope to find a responsible owner willing to train him and give him the best life possible.

Here's the latest update from Sweet Potato's foster mom: Sweet Potato and Drumstick are a happy pair! They find comfort in each other, but also play hard together! Sometimes they prefer to share a bed. They are an active pair, but they also like their down time. They are working on their house training, which is going reasonably, but requires more persistence yet. They both do their business promptly when they go outside, but have occasional accidents, especially when excited. Both of them have settled into the pack at our house. They are well socialized and seem to understand the social cues from the other dog, though they are persistent in trying to make new friends! Sweet Potato is ready to find her forever home. She's won her foster family's hearts and they will be sad to see her go, but will be happy knowing she's found her new, life-long companions! Sweet Potato and Drumstick want to give everyone some love! They love people and also love playing together. They crave attention, belly rubs, and snuggles. So sweet! They do have a clue about potty training. A few accidents, but they have also gone to the door and immediately did their business when let out. ABOUT Sweet Potato: Background: Sweet Potato embarked on an incredible journey from a high-kill shelter in rural southwest Virginia to a brighter future with Homeward Trails. She made this courageous journey with her equally charming brother, Drumstick, both of whom were determined to leave behind a difficult past and find loving forever homes. Physical Appearance: Sweet Potato is a heart-meltingly cute pup with all the endearing traits of a baby puppy. Her stunning eyes radiate with a gentle curiosity, and her soft, floppy ears frame her expressive face perfectly. SP's coat is a harmonious blend of markings, making her look gorgeous! Personality: Sweet Potato is a gentle and affectionate soul with a heart full of love to give. Despite her challenging start in life, she has an incredibly sweet disposition. She loves spending time with her human companions, offering plenty of cuddles, playful energy, and a warm presence. Social Behavior: Sweet Potato is not just a loving companion but also a wonderful friend to other dogs. Sweet Potato is equally friendly with humans, and she has a knack for making everyone feel cherished and valued. Training and Development: Sweet Potato is at the perfect age for learning and growing. She's already showing promise in basic training and is eager to please. With patience and positive reinforcement, she will continue to blossom into a well-behaved and devoted family member. Puppy training classes and socialization experiences are vitally important and will contribute to her development and happiness. Ideal Home: Sweet Potato would thrive in a loving home where she can receive the attention and care she deserves. She's a wonderful choice for families, singles, or anyone seeking a companion who exudes warmth and happiness. While Sweet Potato and her brother share a special bond, they can be adopted separately into homes that can provide them with love, security, and a bright future. Adoption Information: Sweet Potato is now ready to begin the next chapter of her life in a forever home where she can share her gentle nature and unconditional love. To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event he will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Hi! I'm King. I am loving, loyal, and - ok, you made me say it - very handsome. Oh, and did I mention that I am looking for a best friend to adopt me? I like leash walks, especially in calm and quiet spaces where we can spend some quality time together without the crowds. But, I may get distracted by all of the wonderful smells because I really do need to put my nose on everything to explore the wonders of the world. Not only am I curious, I am up for a challenge! I like to run across streams, jump on logs, and hike the trails. I have lots of energy so will be sure to help keep up with your exercise plan. I even like to get in a jog from time to time. And, not to brag, but I am pretty smart. But, for the sake of all those delicious treats, I will pretend that it takes me time to master new tricks and skills. One more thing to tell you. I like to talk when I play. I hope you will come to meet me so we can play together forever, just you and me!

Story
Tina is a 2 year old, cropped and docked, black and tan female Doberman. She is playful, happy, and energetic. Tina is crate and house trained. She needs a little time to warm up to other dogs but Tina would love to have a canine playmate at home. Tina is looking for an active home with people who are committed to doing training, activities, and brain games daily. Tina LOVES to play fetch. Balls Are Life. Tina loves to chase anything that moves. Squirrels, rabbits, birds, bicyclists and runners are all worthy of being chased. Because of this she may do best with older kids who can be mindful not to incite her to chase. Due to her love of chasing, Tina will not be placed in a home with cats, small mammals, or birds. In general, Tina can be shy when meeting new people. But for folks who are patient she quickly warms into a Velcro Doberman who wants to be in the room with you and snuggle on the couch too. Tina is smart and treat-motivated. She would do well with someone willing to train her and help her work through some of her fears, but that will take time. Tina gets very excited when she sees other dogs while she is on a leash. For now, Tina needs a fenced yard so you can keep neighborhood walks to the minimum and during quiet times. Tina would do best in a suburban or rural home with less pedestrian and canine traffic. She could be a single dog or go to a home with a calm, but playful partner pup, if the humans can commit to slow introductions. Tina has been happily coexisting with a 50-pound senior female dog in her foster home for three weeks. If you think you may be the right fit for Tina please contact us. Tina is fostered in Virginia. DAR&E adopts to MD, VA, DC, DE, eastern parts of WV and southern parts of PA. Please check with other Doberman rescues in areas not listed
