Story
Xena just turned 1 years old in February. We love her dearly but we feel like she’d be better off in a home with more active owners. I am also unemployed and cannot keep up with her expenses. Xena is very bubbly and is a good friend. She would make a great service dog with professional training. Every time I cry with her in the room, she’ll come cuddle me to comfort me. She loves playing with other dogs but you must feed her separately from them, as she likes to steal and fight over food.

Story
Brenna is a sweet dog; 7 years old, spayed, female. Her original owner passed away and she was fostered until I adopted her. She is very sweet towards children of all ages, but due to her size, I recommend a household with older elementary aged kids (age 7+). She is fine with cats, but her play can be a bit too rough for a cat, especially one that is very young, very old, or inexperienced with dogs. She is NOT dog friendly, although I have worked with her on this, it is best she be the only dog in the home. She will also attack chickens/ water fowl. She rarely barks, so you won’t have noise complaints about her. She goes to the door to alert silently. She loves her humans and; desires to be around them. She is crate and leash trained, does not resource guard, and loves tug-of-war and fetch.

Story
Meet Honcho A Playful, Energetic Pup Looking for His Forever Home! Honchos journey began with us when he was just six weeks old, and now, at one year old, he’s a lively, fun-loving pup full of energy and personality! He loves to run, play, and explore, and he’s always excited to meet new people; though he may let out a few barks when he sees other dogs passing by. Honcho is crate trained and does well with a structured routine. He’s looking for a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs and someone who can give him the time and attention he deserves. Unfortunately, due to our demanding active-duty military schedules, we’re no longer able to provide him with the care and time he needs. We’re hoping to find Honcho a loving home where he can thrive, play, and be the energetic, happy dog he was meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion, Honcho could be the perfect fit for you!

Story
Meet Brenna. She is a 92lbs 7.5 year old spayed female who loves people and children, and gets along OK with cats. She doesn't really like other dogs and doesn't like chickens or ducks. Brenna loves to play tug-of-war and tag, and will occasionally fetch, but prefers "keep-away". She adores cuddles and pets, and is extremely food motivated. She is fully trained (house, crate, leash) and does not resource guard. Brenna would prefer to be your only dog, but doesn't mind sharing a home with friendly cats. Outside of play, Brenna is a gentle, loving dog. I would love to find her a happy new home, as I am no longer financially able to support her.

Story
Say hello to Malachi! Malachi is a 4-year-old Rottweiler who was originally with us in 2023 but was returned in October due to his previous adopters having a change in their health and could no longer give him the proper care. He is a super sweet guy who loves meeting new people and he knows `Sit`, `Shake`, and `Wait`. Malachi does have a few scars on his back due to having a previous skin condition but he is okay now and can`t wait to find his new BFF! He can get along with other dogs but would love to have a dog intro at the shelter with the Training Team to ensure they are the perfect fit! Come spend some time with this cutie today and see if he can be your new BFF!
