She’s house trained (never had an accident!) and does wonderfully both free-roaming in the house or hanging out in her crate. While you’re away, she’ll happily nap until you get home. She’s a gentle giant who adores children—her toddler buddy gets endless sweet kisses! Remi’s favorite hobbies include soaking up the sunshine, cuddling on the couch, belly rubs, car rides, and showing off her silly “happy twerk” when she’s excited. 🐾💃 Remi would thrive as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She’s good on leash, rides well in the car, and would be a loyal, loving companion for someone looking for a dog who’s sweet, snuggly, and also alert when needed. Bonus? Polly is a SUPER sweet puppy who absolutely loves cuddling, belly rubs, ear scratches, and going on walks. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and enjoys being around her people. Training & Home Skills: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Leash trained ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Knows sit, shake, stay, and lay down Polly does great with other dogs and cats. She hasn’t been around children yet (N/A), and I haven’t noticed any anxiety or aggression issues. When left alone, Polly is always safely crated indoors. She does very well outside unattended in a fenced yard and does not bark at people walking by or neighboring dogs. She did fantastic at the Bastrop Christmas Light Parade and handled the outing like a champ! She isn’t familiar with horses yet and found them a bit scary. Polly also rides well in the car as long as it’s not too windy or bumpy. Polly would make a wonderful addition to a loving home 💕

Howdy, They call me Big Papa, I guess cuz I'm big and old. LOL A nice person found me and brought me to Lucies. I weak, emaciated, exhausted and in ALOT of pain. I collapsed in the road and had to be sedated just to get me in the park. :( The handlers there were so kind and caring with me. They nursed me bit by and got me well enough to get to the vet where I was immediately taken in and taken care of. It was a crucial time, as no one thought I would make it. Well I did!! And all thanks to the kind people who took care of me. I'm happy and healthy now, even though I'm a tad on the older side. I still got spunk, but boy does it wear me out!! I like to spend my time on the porch on a blanket with my volunteer gals and of course my friend KJ...she keeps me in line and out of trouble, most of the time. I'm looking for my forever person to just chill out with for the rest of my days. Just hang out on the couch and be potatoes. You know binge watching whatever you like. I'd like for it to be you!
