Rooster is a very sweet and smart pup! We recently adopted him in Dallas, but unfortunately our first dog has hard an incredibly tough transition from being an only-dog so the new addition has been really negatively affecting her. So, we need to rehome this little man. He has picked up potty training so quickly, and has been learning sit/stay/lay down. He loves to play with other dogs and toys and also loves a good nap. We have worked on crate training as well, and he is getting used to that. He loves food and is very food motivated, he also really loves to please and has a super sweet disposition. He is definitely a cuddly boy. He is neutered and has all his shots as well. we believe he is a Rottweiler mix, but his stature is on the small side for a Rottweiler. We are sad to be rehoming him, but know that is what's best for him and what's best for our family. We know he would be the best companion for the right family.

Meet Chili Dog! This sweet girl will steal your heart! After a rough start in life, Chili is healing and thriving! Chili is full of kisses, cuddles, and tail wags! She loves people, going on walks, running around outside, and car rides. Chili is great in the car! Even though she loves to be active, Chili is also content to lounge around inside. When her foster parents work from home, she's happy to lay on her dog bed near by their desk. Chili is getting better on the leash and responds to commands such as: sit, stay, and come. She is "treat motivated and seems to get with responding to commands daily. Chili is wonderfully fully potty-trained. Her foster parents are happy to report she's never once had an accident. Chili is also crate trained. She responds quickly when told to go in the crate, although she would rather just lounge on the bed. Chili does well with other dogs she has met. She loves to play and would likely do well with another active companion dog but she would also do well as an only dog. We do not know if Chili has been around kids, although when walked past a playground, she excitedly watches the children and wags her tail. Ellie (short for Eleven) is the silliest goofball with the sweetest smile. Ellie is literally the perfect family dog but has sadly been overlooked due to her size and color. Her previous owners were going to euthanize her, but our rescue felt that she deserved a chance so we stepped in. Ellie has been waiting to be adopted since September 2023 and she has never received an application. She has been a fantastic, easy houseguest in each of her foster homes and everyone quickly falls in love with her fun personality. She is fully house trained and nondestructive in home. She is SUPER dog friendly and currently lives with 3 other dogs. She lived with kids and was so gentle and loving. As a medium energy dog, she is an awesome exercise buddy and loves to go on walks or runs, but she also loves to chill with you on the couch watching a movie. She is often seen snuggling her favorite stuffed animal toys. Ellie deserves to finally find the forever family of her dreams! Beeg is a super sweet Rottie type. He may have some black and tan coon hound. We found him running in the pastures near our farm with some Barb wire marks from going under fences. He had joined up with 2 other stray/abandoned dogs. As soon as we fed him he has become totally attached. He is friendly to people who visit our farm. He plays well and is sweet with other dogs and does not challenge our older dominant dog. Unfortunately he has tested positive for Heart worm. As he is only between 1 and 2 years we are starting topical treatment and expect him to be rid pf them in a few months. He is an energetic dog and does not appear to be affected by this condition.

This well rounded boy walks well on leash and has amazing manners in the home. Some of Chavo's favorite adventures include splashing around in the baby pool, hiking the trails, and playing soccer! Chavo is playful with his friends, but he can also settle independently and without supervision. Bella is a 3 year old spayed female Doberman with floppy ears and a docked tail. She was originally found as a stray (multiple times) and her owner decided it was best to surrender her to our rescue. She is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and spayed. She has been treated for heartworms. Bella is learning manners in foster. We will require an experienced working breed owner as she can be a bit pushy due to lack of prior rules. She’s shown us she learns quite quickly but with her intelligence if she can “get one over on you” she will. She’s VERY smart! She has been around cats and chickens and fit into her foster pack very nicely. She doe well with male dogs, but NOT other female dogs. She is also crate trained and housebroken. Older children would be recommended due to her exuberance but she loves people!

Poppy Rose is a 5 year old red and rust female Doberman with cropped (not standing) ears and a docked tail. She was surrendered to the shelter by her breeder along with two one week old puppies and another adult female and some puppies. Poppy Rose had a hard life living outside and her condition at intake (photo) speaks to that. Her foster mom named her appropriately! She has been recovering well in foster care and continues to dote on her puppies. She is heartworm negative, up to date on Baccines and spayed. Poppy was in horrible shape when she was rescued but has regrown all her coat, gained tons of confidence and blossomed. She absolutely loves children! poppy would be best with a quiet family that has working dog experience. She is not a fan of thunderstorms and she will come with her thunder shirt. She is crate trained and housebroken and has learned some basic obedience. She would be happy to hang out with you all day.

Desi was found with Lucy as a stray in the valley with tightly wound copper wire around his neck. He’s a very social guy, gets along well with other dogs and is crate trained. Due to his exuberance (young male Doberman) we recommend an experienced owner. He is smart and very eager to learn! He loves hanging out with his foster family and is ready for his new family!
