Story
Leela will be 3 years old by 03-09-2025. I put unknown for the question “Good with kids” because she’s great with my daughter but I rarely have her around other children. Leela needs a lot of work. She’s clingy and she needs a lot of attention. I haven’t been able to give it to her like she needs. She is very sweet and kinda judgy because of her eyes lol. She isn’t comfortable with other dogs or new people. She needs time warming up. I got her from someone who hit her so she is very scared at first, but she quickly adapted to me and my daughter after a week of consistent tlc. She is house trained but depending on your schedule she might need more training. I changed schedules a lot so she had a few accidents over the years but it was my fault. I don’t recommend her for apartments she will bark at every noise she hears by the front door. She gets aggressive when she’s scared. And she doesn’t like being around a lot of people she doesn’t know. But I guess that’s every dog.

Maxine is an active girl who's always on the go. She gets along with other dogs but needs to be introduced slowly to new friends as she does have a dominant nature. She has some basic obedience training and walks well on a leash and knows how to sit and catch her treats. Maxine is heartworm positive and receiving treatment. All meds for her treatment are provided with her adoption.
