Dory will be 1 year old on December 26. Dory was given to me when she was 12 weeks old from a friend. She is spayed and has her shots up to date. Dory is a sweet girl that loves to play and needs a home that will give her lots of attention. Unfortunately, I’m in school and live in a apartment and I can’t take care of her. Dory is a puppy that has a lot energy to play and go on walks/runs with.

Story
Meet Arthur! A spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Rottsky (Rottweiler/Siberian Husky mix) from Terrell, TX, whose zest for life is as vibrant as his striking black-and-tan coat. Weighing in at 85 pounds of pure energy and personality, Arthur is a playful adventurer who thrives on long walks filled with exciting sniffs and the satisfying crunch of his favorite chew toys. This handsome guy has mastered the art of “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “here,” showcasing his eagerness to learn and love for positive reinforcement training. Arthur is the ultimate companion for a human-centered home. He adores people and has a friendly, outgoing personality that makes him the life of any room he enters! He’s always ready to soak up all the attention (and snacks!) you’re willing to share, making training sessions both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re unwinding after a day’s work or tackling an adventurous weekend hike, Arthur will be right by your side, keeping up with his endless energy and enthusiasm. However, Arthur’s ideal home would be one where he’s the sole pet and where children aren’t part of the household mix. He’s not a fan of other animals, and his high prey drive makes co-existing with cats or dogs stressful. Arthur’s perfect family would be an active person or couple who can offer him the physical activity and mental stimulation he needs, along with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch his legs. While he’s high-energy outdoors, Arthur is excellent when left alone for short periods and is already crate-trained and house-trained. With consistent routines, twice-daily feedings, and plenty of exercise, this affectionate, food-motivated boy will shine as your loyal, four-legged best friend! Are you ready to make room in your life for Arthur’s big heart, goofy antics, and unwavering companionship? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com and get ready for endless adventures with this lovable Rottsky by your side!

Story
Meet Dobby! This affectionate boy is looking for a FURever home where he can cuddle up with his person or family and play fetch. He's very smart and is already housebroken, knows no, listens well, and has a desire to keep learning what you're willing to teach him! He'd make a great partner for someone that enjoys a nice run or jog and then coming home to relax, his preferred relaxation being a nice bone to chew on. He enjoys a nice chase so probably best with no feline friends, possibly a selective canine companion, but has done well with children. If his zest for life doesn't win you over, his adorably large ears surely will! Apply to bring this big boy home today! All Abandoned Pet Project Rescue adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at bit.ly/APPRAdoptableDogs. For more information, you can email adopt@abandonedpetproject.org.

Story
COURTESY POST: Meet Rocky. He is a sweet boy who has been with his current caretakers for a long time. Rocky is a social butterfly and loves the company of cats, kids, and other dogs. He is currently in boarding and desperately needs a foster home or an adopter. Rocky is fully vetted and ready to go to his new home. Please consider giving Rocky a loving home. Rocky is about 4 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Please note that we don't recommend Rocky to families with children under 5. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Diamond is a sweet, silly affectionate pup who is absolutely full of energy. Diamond is 3 1/2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. She is a boxer mix with short straight red fur. I adopted Diamond in June from the SPCA after she spent the first 3 years of her life in the shelter. Due to how she spent the first part of her life, Diamond does have some anxieties and reactive behaviors. She does best with other dogs her size or bigger when we go to the dog park. Due to her excitability, she can be overwhelming for smaller dogs and sometimes gets a bit too rough with them. Diamond is not great with cats at all. Diamond loves people and children, but because of her size and strength, older children (over age 6 or 7) would probably be best. While she is high-energy, Diamond loves to snuggle and definitely thinks she is a lap dog. Diamond would do best in a home with a yard. She loves being outdoors and would stay out there all day if allowed. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m having to rehome her due to my living and working situation and not being able to give her the amount of training and space she really needs to thrive. She needs someone who can train her well and who can address her reactive behaviors. Diamond really is a sweet dog who is great to snuggle up with. She just needs and deserves more than I can give her at this current time. Diamond is up to date on all shots through May 2025. She has been microchipped, spayed and is mostly house-trained (accidents still sometimes happen). This lovable, active pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Diamond today!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Diamond, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
