Story
We found Halas abandoned on the side of 211 in Helotes. He is up to date with shots, is micro chipped (by me), is neutered, and has some training. We never planned on being his forever home. He is very friendly, he does not have a mean bone in his body. Halas loves to be outside. I would recommend a family with property for him to roam around on.

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Brutus to CCPAL Rescue. Brutus is a 2.5 year old Terrier/Rottweiler mix is our best guess of his blend. He weighs about 55 pounds. He is athletic and has a shorter not to much of a shedding dog. I call this dog a man dog. He loves men as the kennel workers are all men and they take great care of him. He is a strong dog but walks well on the leash after he his excitement of a walk has ended. He would be a great jogging, walking or hiking companion. He will sit when you ask him to and he is affectionate. He would be a great companion dog for someone wanting a dog to join them in all their outdoor activities. He is eager to please and not hard to get his willingness to comply. He has a very cute ear that is wonky and it adds to his adorableness in our opinion. He is vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He could go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Story
Say hello to Malachi! Malachi is a 4-year-old Rottweiler who was originally with us in 2023 but was returned in October due to his previous adopters having a change in their health and could no longer give him the proper care. He is a super sweet guy who loves meeting new people and he knows `Sit`, `Shake`, and `Wait`. Malachi does have a few scars on his back due to having a previous skin condition but he is okay now and can`t wait to find his new BFF! He can get along with other dogs but would love to have a dog intro at the shelter with the Training Team to ensure they are the perfect fit! Come spend some time with this cutie today and see if he can be your new BFF!

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!!! Meet Max, 3.5 years old, weighs 88 lbs, he has a beautiful shinny coat and a total sweetheart heart. Max is a mild and mellow gentlemen who just wants a family or single person to be his buddy. His activity level is normal but he loves to go on works and play around. He walks very well on a leash, does not pull, he is happy to just enjoy getting out. He has been around teenagers and adults. Max is very well behaved, takes treats very gently, knows how to sit and give you his paw. He is quiet and very low maintenance. I cannot say enough good things about this boy.I listed that his attitude is unknow towards dogs because he has not been around other dogs that often and when he did a family member brought over there dog and Max got jealous when the dog tried to get too much loving from the owner. As far as cats go, Max has been around them and ignored them but he has also showed interest in them and gone after them but not in a threatening way. Max needs a new home because his owners are working more hours and leaving Max to occupy himself for long hours. Once they get home, Max goes to the door, gets his leash and lets them know he wants to go for a walk. Max is completely house trained and potty trained. He can be left in the house along, he has never been crated and there is no need to confine him. This guy is obedient.I can provide other pictures of him.He is up to date on all vaccinations and is heartowrm negaitve. His medical records will come with him at the time of adoption. Transport is available across the United States. Thank you for looking.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
