Story
Murfee is the best boy and will make a great companion to a family with children and other dogs. He is gentle, does not jump up, will lean on you and roll over for belly rubs. He loves treats, loves to run around in the yard for a little exercise then back to the house. He is very easy to get back inside because he loves being indoors with the family. This dog deserves a wonderful forever home of his own.

Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
Meet Emmett! He was found abandoned after his heartless people moved and left him behind. Emmett is fostered with other dogs and 1 child under 10 who is dog smart. A child who may be scared of a 90 lb dog or get knocked down may not be the best option. Emmett is almost 1 year old. He is very playful and affectionate. He gets along with other dogs and has been fine with the fosters cat. He loves to play fetch. He does well in a crate if needed and seems to be house trained. We are requiring a secure fence for him and would prefer a home with a dog he can play with. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided.

Story
My ex acquired Leo as a puppy and when things didn't work out I offered to keep him until he could get on his feet. It has been a year and a half and that has not been the case. Unfortunately, I have now started a family that has allergies and cannot help me care or give Leo the attention that he needs. He is 6 years old, but still has a lot of puppy energy! He is a great guard dog and loves to take all the attention you can give him. I believe he would do great with a single person/couple or a family with older kids that will not jump or poke at him when he is resting as he likes to not be disturbed when napping. He is sensitive when it comes to clipping his nails and will require extra care in this department. He has had all his initial shots, but will need anything that requires annual boosts.

Story
Hey there, I'm Leyla! I'm a 7-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing around 50 pounds, and I've got a big heart full of love to share. I'm the kind of gal who's always excited to greet you with a wagging tail and warm nuzzle. I'm friendly and curious, always up for exploring new places and enjoying a bit of adventure with you. While I love to explore, I'm also the perfect companion for a cozy cuddle session. I'm sweet, mellow, and love spending quiet evenings by your side. And don't let my age fool you-I'm still full of life and ready to make every moment with you count. I'm housetrained, good with other dogs, and based on my easygoing nature, I'd likely do well with cats too! If you're looking for a loyal friend who's equal parts cuddle buddy and adventure partner, I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's create some unforgettable memories together! Ready to meet me?
