Story
Meet Emmett! He was found abandoned after his heartless people moved and left him behind. Emmett is fostered with other dogs and 1 child under 10 who is dog smart. A child who may be scared of a 90 lb dog or get knocked down may not be the best option. Emmett is almost 1 year old. He is very playful and affectionate. He gets along with other dogs and has been fine with the fosters cat. He loves to play fetch. He does well in a crate if needed and seems to be house trained. We are requiring a secure fence for him and would prefer a home with a dog he can play with. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided.

Story
Ryder is a 2 year old pure bred rotty. He was acquired from a breeder in Sumter around 8 weeks old. He is neutered and up to date on all of his medical requirements. He was first purchased for my grandmother as a companion but as her health has declined and other family needs have increased, he is becoming too much for me to care for alone. We won’t have a fenced in yard so he isn’t able to go out alone and play freely and with limited time/availability from us, he isn’t getting the love and exercise he deserves. He is a sweet dog, good with all people, never bitten anyone. The most he does is jump from excitement. He’s attended some training so will get used to routine easily and knows some basic commands but he does need more formal and consistent training. Please help us rehome Ryder to a great family.

Story
Hey there! I'm Major, a 4-year-old Rottweiler-Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give. My journey brought me to this wonderful shelter after I wandered into someone's yard. Despite extensive efforts to find my previous owners, no one came forward. So now, I'm on the lookout for my forever home! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a well-behaved, potty-trained pup who loves to play and have fun. I'm also great at letting you know when someone is visiting – you'll never miss a guest with me around! My friendly nature and boundless energy make me a fantastic companion for any family. Plus, I'm already neutered and up to date on all my vaccines, so I'm all set to join my new family right away. I have so much love left to give, and I'm ready to share it with my new family. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion, come meet me today! Looking to place him in an experienced with the breed home. He is a sweet and loving boy. But true to the breed he loves his family and is cautious around strangers. Needs a large area to run and play that;s fenced in. Also he isn’t fixed but needs to. We were waiting till he turned two to do it. Pls no breeders or inexperienced with the breed reply. Just want the best for him.

Story
Hi, my name is Keaton! I came back to Pawmetto Lifeline several years after being adopted as a puppy. My previous owners kept me completely outside, where I never met any humans or dogs, so I am not a huge fan of strangers. But once I get to know you, I am the most loving and affectionate dog! The staff here says I am so sweet and goofy. I would make the perfect companion for someone with a quiet home where I can just be myself. I deserve a home that will make me a part of their family forever. Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
