Pickles enjoys lounging on the couch, going for long walks around our pond, car rides, treat puzzles and having play time in the pen. Pickles is a cuddle bug and will find the perfect spot right on top of you!  This boy is housebroken, crate trained and active.  Pickles must be an only pet, but has so much love to give. Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also. She comes off shy at first but warms up and wants to be with her people. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) They are a bonded pair. We arent sure if they are mother and daughter or sisters. Both girls have been very very scared and have huddled next to each other for comfort. Both girls were surrendered to the shelter severely under weight. They went to boarding for a few weeks to try and help them open up but they both still struggled tremendously. Both girls are now in foster care in homes to help them come out of their shells and see if we can get them to open up and gain their trust. ##1347250##
