Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Everyone who sees Cooper thinks he is a Rottie mix, or a Mountain Cur mix so we put that in his bio since anything is possible with mixed breeds. The puppies have started their crate and house training and are picking it up very quickly.  These six puppies were an accidental litter born on December 22 during an Eagles game. Their mother looks to have some Australian Shepherd and Retriever in her mix. She escaped the house when the owner's five-year-old forgot to close the gate. She was missing for eight days, so the identity of the father or fathers is unknown. The puppies have been raised around children and other pets, making them very well-socialized. They are currently being fostered in Diane's home and are going through puppy boot camp. They know that if they chase a cat, the cat will correct their mistake. If they jump up and nip at other dogs or people, that is also not acceptable.  Adoption Donation: $375 ($75 REFUND with proof of neuter)  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email: rescuedp2024@icloud.com   or ddlu219@yahoo.com  for dog/puppies.   APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG         BIRD        REPTILE          SMALL ANIMALS        March 13, 2025, 5:06 pm

Story
hi Ruby! This sweet girl is a 3 1/2 year old Rottweiler. She was surrendered to our care from a Lancaster breeding farm as she was no longer wanted for breeding. She is 87 lbs. From the moment Ruby walked into our shelter, she knew she was safe. All she wanted was to cuddle and tried to be a lap dog. She is as sweet as pie and we love her very much. Her worn body is very telling of her story so far but we are determined to turn that around. Ruby was so happy to run around the playyard, cuddle, and just enjoy her freedom, fresh air and unlimited cuddles. She is uncomfortable with kids so she is looking for an adult only home. She would need to meet any resident dogs as she seems to be a bit selective with them. A home as one and only would be great. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. **If you are serious about adoption, please start by filling out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $300** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA 19425 Kennel License #5152

Story
hi Carol! This lovely girl is a 8 1/2 year old Rottweiler. She came to us from a Lancaster puppy mill when she got too old to breed and produce puppies. Carol is a sweetheart. She is a well behaved good girl that allowed all handling. She was interested in other animals (the playyard fence boarders with a little farm that has pigs and goats). She tends to pull a little on the leash but settled down after a short time. She enjoyed playing and rolling around in the dirt. She is the sweetest, friendliest girl <3 Carol would need to meet any resident dog. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had a dental. **If you are serious about adopting, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $300** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Story
Mimi is a 100 pound fluffy ball of love who is about 7 years old. This adorable Rottweiler just wants to cuddle up on the couch with you and watch a movie, soliciting pets from you all night long. She is very easy going and just wants to be included. While Mimi has lost weight in foster care, she could still stand to lose a couple more pounds, which she is currently working hard on with hot girl walks and a strict diet. She walks well on the leas, she really just wants to stop and sniff all of the flowers. Mimi also does well with other dogs with a proper introduction, she is currently living with two female resident dogs. She would do best in a home with little to no stairs. She hasn’t been able to do a full flight of stairs, but can comfortably use 2-3 stairs at a time in her foster’s back yard. Mimi is fully house and crate trained. You can often find her hanging out in her crate, relaxing during the day. She also loves hanging out in a dog bed or behind your chair while you work from home. She can be a bit skittish with new people, but can warm up to you quickly. Even though Mimi’s size can be intimidating, she’s a very sweet and sensitive dog looking to please her humans. You may follow her fosters on instagram at K_AND_P_FOSTERS but will need to submit an application through Philly Bully Team prior to meeting Mimi. Thanks for considering rescue.

Story
Meet Cocoa, a 4-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her head and enough love to smother you (in the best way possible). She’s the definition of loyal and will stick by your side through thick and thin, but she carries some baggage from her past and is a little nervous that she’ll be abandoned again. Because of this, she needs someone patient who understands her breed and will give her the time and space to decompress and learn what it really means to be a dog. Once she trusts you, though? Game over. She’ll be your cuddle buddy, your shadow, and your most devoted fan. Personal space? She doesn’t believe in it. Cocoa would happily spend 23 out of 24 hours snuggled up with you, and that one free hour? It’s for bathroom breaks—hers and yours. She enjoys long walks where she can take in all the smells, and she never says no to a stuffed bone or a rope toy. She gets along with some dogs, but at the end of the day, she prefers the company of her person over anyone else. If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you with every ounce of her being, Cocoa is your girl. She just needs someone willing to take a chance on her. If you have prior breed experience and are ready for the most loving, snuggly, slightly anxious, but absolutely worth-it companion, Cocoa is waiting to meet you. Cocoa is spayed and UTD on vaccines. Story
Chop was found by herself in a city park. A Good Samaritan saw her and brought her into the shelter. While she had no history on her, when asked what Chop was like with her, she quickly responded "friendly and cuddly". While at the shelter, Chop was quite sweet. When approached in her kennel, Chop was laying on her bed and came to the door with soft eyes and low wags. She sniffed the leash and came to the front with nub wags. She was patient for leashing and allowed the handler to slip it over her head without issues. When taken out into the yard, Chop was a friendly and social girl! Upon entering the yard she immediately began to solicit attention from both handlers with soft eyes, ears back, and tail low wagging. She allowed all handling and would give fast low nub wags when petting her. She took treats very gently as well when offered. As time went on she got more wiggly and bouncy, getting playful but still a little nervous of big movements. Another staff member entered the yard and Chop trotted up to them and leaned in right away, giving fast nub wags. We did a quick dog meet for her as well and she did amazing! Chop greeted nicely, with a loose body and fast low wags, and tried to engage in play with the other dog! She got so happy and goofy! Overall, Chop was a little nervous at first, but is super sweet and friendly. She showed Interest in toys but took no possession. Our vet has estimated her age as between 1 and 2. If you'd like to be considered for Chop, just go to our site at www.kodisclub.org/applications and submit our application. PA License #18512 Souderton, PA

KENNEL ID #18804 Bry is a happy puppy who always seems to be smiling. She is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Every litter has that one puppy that stands out for its intelligence, and for this litter, that puppy is Bry. She is both the smallest and the smartest of the group. Bry appears to be mixed with some Cattle Dog, but with mixed breeds, anything is possible.
