River is a 7 month old Rottweiler Lab mix currently weighing 45 pounds. He is neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He knows all basic commands (sit, stay, come, fetch, lay down, etc.) He currently sleeps in his crate throughout the night and does very well. He does good on a leash. He loves car rides, the outdoors, soaking up sunshine, playing fetch, sleeping, and especially toys! He will try to carry 3 toys at once. He does not like anybody in his vicinity while he’s eating, doesn’t enjoy baths very much, and doesn’t like small dogs. He’s had one interaction with a cat and didn’t react, but unsure how he would be living with one. He would be best living with larger breeds, no small animals, children 10 years or older, and a fenced in yard to run freely. He is super adorable and a very smart puppy! He learns new tricks and commands very quickly. Meet Toby: Toby is about a 1 year old (as of February 2025) Rottweiler mix that weighs about 90 pounds. Toby came wandering out of the woods in Pennsylvania near a volunteer's home. They tried to find his owners but no one came forward. Toby is currently in a foster home in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. Toby is a super friendly boy and likes to snuggle up. Toby loves playing fetch with balls and toys. Toby did awesome on a hike with a leash. Toby has been really great with a 10 year old boy and 12 year old girl that he has been around. Toby likes other dogs. Toby is a big boy and wants to play with other dogs, but they can sometimes get intimidated. Toby is not aggressive at all and he doesn’t growl, but he jumps up and is overly eager to play with doggie playmates, so he will need an appropriate matched playmate. Toby loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Toby is a smart pup - he can sit, lay down and stay on command. Toby will need a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. hi Ruby! This sweet girl is a 3 1/2 year old Rottweiler. She was surrendered to our care from a Lancaster breeding farm as she was no longer wanted for breeding. She is 87 lbs. From the moment Ruby walked into our shelter, she knew she was safe. All she wanted was to cuddle and tried to be a lap dog. She is as sweet as pie and we love her very much. Her worn body is very telling of her story so far but we are determined to turn that around. Ruby was so happy to run around the playyard, cuddle, and just enjoy her freedom, fresh air and unlimited cuddles. She is uncomfortable with kids so she is looking for an adult only home. KENNEL ID #18804 Everyone who sees Cooper thinks he is a Rottie mix, or a Mountain Cur mix so we put that in his bio since anything is possible with mixed breeds. The puppies have started their crate and house training and are picking it up very quickly. These six puppies were an accidental litter born on December 22 during an Eagles game. Their mother looks to have some Australian Shepherd and Retriever in her mix. She escaped the house when the owner's five-year-old forgot to close the gate. She was missing for eight days, so the identity of the father or fathers is unknown. The puppies have been raised around children and other pets, making them very well-socialized. They are currently being fostered in Diane's home and are going through puppy boot camp. They know that if they chase a cat, the cat will correct their mistake.
