Likely a Rottweiler and Plott Hound mix, Dennis is about 1–2 years old and has a big heart to match his love for life. His absolute favorite thing? Playing fetch! He’d happily chase toys all day long if he could. Dennis is smart, eager to please, and incredibly loving. With his playful energy and loyal personality, he’s sure to become a cherished companion for someone lucky enough to adopt him. Captain has been deaf since birth, so is listed as "special needs" Captain is losing his home due to no fault of his own, his parents are divorcing and cannot take him to a rental. This gentle giant is as wiggly as they come and adores spending time with humans-he's a true social butterfly! Despite his size, Rocky walks beautifully on a leash, making strolls a breeze. However, due to his size and certain behaviors, Rocky would do best in a home without small children or other animals. He’s had a few incidents that have shown he may not be the best fit for households with young kids or other pets, and his size can make him a bit too much to handle in these situations. Therefore, we are seeking a family or individual with experience managing a large, strong dog who can provide him with the structure, training, and attention he needs to thrive.
