Story
Hi there! My name is Apollo, and I'm an athletic and playful young male. I am a strong dog who was found as a stray, but staff and volunteers at the shelter have made me feel safe and loved. I am a friendly pup who would benefit from some basic training and daily exercise. With some time and patience, I am sure to be a well-behaved and loyal companion. Apollo is house trained, and is now current on vaccines and neuterd. Apollo is new to the rescue so for more information or to set up an appointment to meet Apollo please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel license # 8704 )

Story
Archie & Connor are 8 month old Rottweiler mix brothers. Archie is the “big” brother, currently weighing in at 62 lbs. Archie is the coppery color of morning sunshine. Connor is the midnight color of a clear, moonless night. Both brothers inherited the family tail: a question mark that curls over their backs. In their previous home, both dogs lived with children & other pets. They were surrendered to the rescue when their owner, who raised them from birth, could no longer afford their care. Archie’s name means “genuine or brave.” As dogs go, Archie truly is the “real deal.” He walks well on leash & is one of the “go to” dogs for introducing new dogs to the play yard & to doggie play groups. When he sees the other dogs tugging & chewing on his brother Connor’s ears, belly & tail, Archie will bravely make them stop by using his snout to gently bat the other dogs away as though he is swatting at flies, teaching the other dogs that you can be a gentle leader & don’t have to be a bully to earn respect. Archie will thrive in a patient, loving home that can provide daily exercise, basic obedience, & loving reinforcement to build his confidence. Archie is current on vaccines & neutered. If you would like to consider a “real deal” of a dog as your next family member, schedule an appointment to meet Archie by contacting Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, by calling 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org (kennel license #8704)

Story
Conner & Archie are 8 month old Rottweiler mix brothers. Connor currently weighs 53 lbs. Connor is the midnight color of a clear, moonless night. Archie is the coppery color of morning sunshine. Both dogs inherited the family tail: a question mark that curls over their backs. In their previous home, both dogs lived with children & other pets. They were surrendered to the rescue when their owner, who raised them from birth, could no longer afford their care. Connor’s name means “lover of hounds,” the perfect name for this sweet individual who is such a “lover” that he will roll over on his back in his doggie play group while the other “hounds” tug & chew on his ears, belly & tail. Since coming to the shelter, Connor’s leash manners have improved & he’s a fun, easy going dog to walk now. Connor loves to be beside his person or right between a pair of human legs, soaking up attention. Conner will thrive in a patient, loving home that can provide daily exercise, basic obedience, & gentle, loving reinforcement to build his confidence. Conner’s best match will be the lucky person or family who is as much a “lover of hounds” as Conner is. Conner is current on vaccines & neutered. For more information or to meet Conner contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org (kennel license #8704)
