Aang loves to go for walks. He walks well on a leash and loves people. Aang is a calm boy who doesn't bark much and loves to swim. He knows how to use a doggie door. This sweet boy gets along with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. Aang is about a year old and 50 pounds. Please help Aang find the loving home that he deserves. Update: Aang tested positive for the common tick borne Lyme's disease. He is still available for adoption and is currently being treated with the usual oral antibiotic which can be sent with his new family for completion. Since he likes to swim, he came down with an ear infection which he was given Claro Otic by the vet which is a one time treatment that lasts for 30 days. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also.
