This sweet Senior guy is Rocky! Rocky came to us as a stray so we do not know much about his past but we are sure that his future is bright and full of kisses! Rocky seems to be potty trained and loves to lay with his friends and relax. Rocky does have some medical needs that will have to be discussed with adopters prior to adoption. Rocky will do best in a home that has no stairs, Rocky has a very hard time navigating stairs. Come meet our main man Rocky today! Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Well, HOWDY!!! I still can't believe i am IN TEXAS!! My story may be a little convoluted but suffice it to say... the OK Corral has nothing on me! I was not fighting the outlaws.. i was not fighting at all! I was just trying to figure out why I was saved and in a wonderful rescuers home.... then... back into a high kill shelter?? UNTIL, I was saved by ANOTHER rescuer and was transported from Louisiana to TEXAS and here I am! I LOVE everyone, I want a home that will walk me a couple of times a day and then chill out with me on their couch :) I don't have a whole bunch of energy but that is PERFECT for a lower energy home. I came to the rescue with heart worms but am going to complete my treatment by Christmas!! What a gift that will be! I am now looking for my family, someone who will love me for who I am.. a little low rider, kinda chunky but as loving as the day is long! ADOPT ME!!! We got Shiloh in 2021 from a Rottweiler breeder in Ohio as a family dog. Last December I became the owner of her, but I find myself too busy with work to care for her without assistance from other family members. Also having a desire to move closer to work, many places don't allow Rottweilers, so I need to find her a new home. Shiloh is about 3 and half years old, and is a happy, friendly, and super energetic girl. She's been great with kids! She's also comfortable around cats once used to them, and doesn't bother them. She doesn't have much experience with other dogs, just our neighbors. She's very playful with our neighbors German Shephard and Beagle, but she does not seem to like dogs bigger than her.

Archie & Connor are 8 month old Rottweiler mix brothers. Archie is the “big” brother, currently weighing in at 62 lbs. Archie is the coppery color of morning sunshine. Connor is the midnight color of a clear, moonless night. Both brothers inherited the family tail: a question mark that curls over their backs. In their previous home, both dogs lived with children & other pets. They were surrendered to the rescue when their owner, who raised them from birth, could no longer afford their care. Archie’s name means “genuine or brave.” As dogs go, Archie truly is the “real deal.” He walks well on leash & is one of the “go to” dogs for introducing new dogs to the play yard & to doggie play groups. When he sees the other dogs tugging & chewing on his brother Connor’s ears, belly & tail, Archie will bravely make them stop by using his snout to gently bat the other dogs away as though he is swatting at flies, teaching the other dogs that you can be a gentle leader & don’t have to be a bully to earn respect. Archie will thrive in a patient, loving home that can provide daily exercise, basic obedience, & loving reinforcement to build his confidence. Archie is current on vaccines & neutered.
