Story
Meet Veeran, a spirited young Rottweiler mix in search of a loving, adult-only home. Veeran is an energetic and charming dog with a playful nature, always eager to explore his surroundings or entertain himself with a chew toy. His independent spirit is balanced by a shy and timid demeanor when first meeting new people, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Veeran thrives and becomes more confident in his environment.Veeran`s playful antics, including chasing his tail and pouncing on squeaky toys, are sure to bring joy and laughter to any household. However, it`s important to note that Veeran has shown some resource guarding tendencies, and we recommend that his new family be experienced, vigilant, and proactive in addressing this behavior through training and management. We are happy to provide guidance to potential adopters regarding this aspect of his care. Veeran also comes with a training package included in his adoption fee .Please discuss with front desk for details .Given his temperament, Veeran would do best in a home without young children. He has not been tested with other dogs or cats, this can be arranged with an an approved application. If you`re looking for a loyal and playful companion who can bring both energy and joy into your life, Veeran may be the perfect fit for you. We encourage interested adopters to reach out to learn more about this special pup and how you can make him a part of your family. All animals available for adoption at HSHPE have been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered, and have been treated for internal/external parasites.Adopters will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ren`s Pets and a pet care booklet from Pet Valu with coupons worth up to $300. Plus, adopters who bring the paperwork from their HSHPE adoption to PetSmart Belleville or Kingston will receive a booklet with coupons worth up to $300.For inquiries regarding adoptions or specific information on the pet you are interested in please contact us at 613-968-4673 or Reception@humanesocietyhpe.ca
