Story
Hello my name is Mozzarella!Nice to meet you! (Sorry if that's cheesy) I am a young, active, strong lady. I prefer the company of humans over animals, so I'd like to be the only animal in home! I may be a little nervous meeting you at first but once we get comfortable together, I'm sure we would be the best of friends! I am a big girl, with big feelings, and would really shine in an experienced dog home without kids. They make me a little nervous with their fast movements. If you think we would be a good fit, please stop by the center any time during regular business hours (11am-6pm, 7 days a week) to come and see me!Stay Cheesy,-Mozza Primary Color: Black Brown Secondary Color: Black Brown Weight: 35.5 Age: 4yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Handsome, Athletic, Playful Geno is a friendly young pup who is excited to say hello to everyone he meets. He came to us from a local shelter where he was found stray. We are uncertain of his breeding but maybe some Rottie, Hound, Bernese or Boxer but regardless he is a handsome friendly guy who loves people, to grab his leash and go for a walk or to play with his stuffy toys. ABOUT GENO:- Approximately 1.5 year old neutered male weighing 35.5kg (78lbs)- Playful and energetic young dog who will make a wonderful companion with some basic training - Ready to learn new things and to please his forever family- Microchipped and up to date on his core vaccinationsGENO’S IDEAL HOME:- Active family prepared to invest in his basic training and regular daily exercise including leash walks and fun activities- A home with direct access to a yard would be ideal so he can run and play and expend some energy- We are not recommending Geno for a home with cats, small animals or young children (under 12 years) because he hasn’t been tested and he can be quite jumpy when excitedIf you are looking for a friendly companion and are committed to furthering his training, please submit an online application as that is the first step in our adoption process. If you have questions about Geno reach out to his adoption coordinator at:Jenc.ehs@gmail.com

Story
Bonnie is a delightful 8-month-old Rottweiler Shepherd mix with a heart full of love! This sweet girl is incredibly friendly and loves giving kisses to everyone she meets. She's also very cuddly and enjoys snuggling up for some quality bonding time. While she can be a little timid when entering new environments, she quickly opens up with a little encouragement and some tasty treats. As a young puppy, Bonnie is still working on her leash skills and would benefit from some training, but she's eager to learn and please. Bonnie absolutely loves to play, especially outdoors, and would make a fantastic companion for an active family. With her loving nature and playful spirit, Bonnie is truly an amazing girl looking for her forever home! If you are interested in adopting Bonnie please feel free to reach out to us at barrie@ontariospca.ca or call us at 705-728-7311 EXT.6. Our Dog Adopter Profiles can be found at https://ontariospca.ca/adopt/adoption-process-and-fees/ and our adoption fee for dogs is $585, for puppies $685. This includes their base vaccinations, rabies vaccine, flea and tick treatment, microchip, their spay/neuter surgery, and some food from Royal Canin to help with the transition. Story
Meet Miss Clyde! Miss Clyde is an adorable 8-month-old Rottweiler Shepherd mix who is sure to steal your heart! This sweet girl is friendly, affectionate, and loves to cuddle-especially when it comes to belly rubs! Though she may be a little timid in new environments at first, with time and patience, she warms up and becomes a loving companion. As a playful puppy, she's still learning the ropes of leash training but is eager to please. Miss Clyde absolutely adores playing fetch and spending time outdoors, making her a great fit for an active home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving pup, Miss Clyde could be the perfect addition to your family! Miss Clyde is a delayed adoption which means she is ready to head to her forever home, however, she remains our responsibility medically until she has had her spay surgery. She will have continuous weekly check-in appointments here at our shelter until her spay has been completed at our spay and neuter clinic. Because of the delayed adoption, we are look for adopters that are local or very close to the Barrie Area. If you are interested in adopting Miss Clyde please feel free to reach out to us at barrie@ontariospca.ca or call us at 705-728-7311 EXT.6. Story
Meet Chandler! Chandler is a playful, affectionate, and confident pup who thrives on human attention. If you’re looking for a cuddly best friend, Chandler is your guy, he’ll knock your phone out of your hands just to get more pets and loves being as close to his person as possible. While he has plenty of energy and enjoys exploring, he might love snuggling even more! This treat-catching champion is highly food motivated and quick to learn. He walks well on a leash, though he likes to take his time sniffing everything around him. Chandler is friendly with both people and dogs, though he can get a little too excited and bark or lunge if he isn’t allowed to say hello. He plays well with most dogs but can be a bit vocal if the other dog barks first. He also has a tendency to guard his toys but does well with food sharing. Chandler has been tested with cats and is indifferent to them, making him a good candidate for a home with feline companions. Chandler is house trained and does well in his crate at night, but he struggles with separation anxiety if crated during the day. He does much better when left to free roam, where he’ll typically nap by the door. He is currently working on settling when left alone and improving his leash manners. Because Chandler is physically playful and doesn’t always know his own strength, he would do best in a home without small animals or young children. He also has a loud bark and enjoys “talking” when excited, so a patient adopter who won’t be startled by his enthusiasm would be ideal. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic, and endlessly affectionate companion, Chandler might be the perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Chandler?
