Meet Bronx, a handsome one-year-old mixed breed pup who is ready to find his forever family! Bronx is a friendly, playful boy who loves people and enjoys going for walks. Hes eager to please and has that perfect mix of energy and sweetness that makes him a joy to be around. We have lowered the adoption fee to just $200 for Bronx because he's been waiting quite some time to find his adoptive family! Bronx is crate trained, housetrained, and leash trained, and he rides calmly in the car. He knows sit, down, and leave it, and his foster reports that he has very good leash manners. He may get a little excited at the start of a walk, but he settles quickly and walks beautifully by your side. He sleeps through the night and has no problem settling in once hes comfortable. Like many young dogs, Bronx is still learning about boundaries. He can get a bit mouthy when hes excited, might jump up to say hello, and occasionally tries his luck at counter-surfing. With consistency, redirection, and basic obedience training, hell continue to grow into a polite and well-mannered companion. Luckily, all Precious Paws dogs come with free 30 day text-based support from certified trainers! And local adopters can also register for a 6 week obedience class at Ruff Haus in Barrie for 50% off! Bronx will do best in a home with older kids who can help reinforce good manners and understand his playful enthusiasm. He gets along well with most dogs and may do well with another large breed dog to play with in his future home. Bronx has even been going to doggy daycare and he loves it! Bronx has a strong prey drive, so hell need a home without cats or small animals. Hes looking for a family who can give him love, structure, and plenty of exercise, and in return, Bronx will give endless affection and loyalty.
