Story
Choi is one strong guy! Most of the time he is tough and determined, but once he accepts you into his circle he is a real cuddle bear. He is so very loyal. Choi enjoys spending his days doing lots of tricks for treats, playing ball, and getting all the pets he can. Sometimes he'll even sit on your lap! When we first rescued Choi he had no leash manners or training. His reactivity and protective behaviour was very intense. Throughout the months of working with him we have seen a huge change in Choi. He is extremely food motivated and enjoys structure. He would benefit from someone who is active, has experience with dogs of his demeanor, and will have the time to continue his training long term. Choi would do best in an adult only home with no other pets, in a quiet environment. He can still be reactive towards dogs, vehicles, and strangers at times. Choi could go to a home with teens depending on the family's experience as a whole.

Story
Hello! My name is Rocky!I'm a pretty easy-going dude. I like to run around and play with tennis balls - those are my favorite. I enjoy hopping in some water for a swim. And I like bum scratches. I can be a bit sensitive about handling, so I'd love to join a home that has some interest in working with me to help me learn that nail trims and vet exams are fun!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: No young children. Teenagers should be ok. I've never lived with kids before and can be sensitive to handling.OTHER DOGS: Yes, I would enjoy a friendly dog to romp around with.CATS: Yes, I've lived with cats before and done well. FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Yes.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.I'M ON A PRESCRIPTION DIET: Just a food without chicken.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes, but still expect some accidents as I adjust to the new routine. If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the 'adopt me' button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Maple!I'm a precious girl who just wants to snuggle and cuddle with my humans. I'm working hard to gain weight as I am currently missing some pounds, so I'm a bit slow and weak at the moment but might perk up once I'm a healthy weight! I can be sensitive about formal handling - like with nail trims - and look forward to joining a family that will help me feel more comfortable with handling and see that it results in good things!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: Teenagers should be ok. No young children as I can be sensitive about handling.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a calm, respectful dog.CATS: Likely, given my calm demeanor.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with someone with previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessarily.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-medium. HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes, but expect some accidents as I settle in.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the "adopt me" button to apply!
