Story
Meet Rodi, a charming Rottweiler mix who is eagerly waiting for his forever home. At around five years old and weighing in at a sturdy 90 pounds, Rodi is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He is not only neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations but also embodies a warm and friendly demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. When Rodi spots you, his whole body wiggles with excitement, making it impossible not to smile at his infectious enthusiasm. And he will never pass up a good belly rub. Rodi is housebroken and crate-trained and enjoys lounging time with his family. He walks well on a leash, making outings a breeze and providing an opportunity for quality bonding time while enjoying the great outdoors. Rides in a vehicle give him some anxiety, so when it's necessary to travel be prepared to wipe up some drool. Rodi would thrive in a home where he can share his days with a playful canine companion, as he adores romping and interacting with other dogs. Plus, he gets along well with cats, making him a versatile addition to any household. This sweet boy is ready to fill your life with love and companionship. If you're looking for a loyal friend who brings joy and warmth into every moment, consider giving Rodi the chance he deserves. With his wonderful personality and affectionate spirit, he promises to be a treasured member of your family for years to come.

Story
Moose is a 3 year old Rottweiler that was picked up as an emaciated stray by a local shelter. Through some heroic efforts from our team of vets and volunteers, he has now been nursed back to being a healthy and happy dog.  His last hurdle is now to undergo heartworm treatment which will be completed around mid February.  He is all that you expect from a Rotweiller with intelegence being one of his greatest attributes.  He loves his training sessions for obedience and already knows several commands although further proofing is still needed.  He will do best and a home that is relatively structured and has the time to continue with training and enrichment    He waits patiently on his “place” bed while his meals are prepared and even holding until he is released with the command “free” long after the bowl has been set down.  He can do “sit” and “down” like most good dogs but he is also now working to perfect his “heal” command and walking nice on leash.  He absolutley loves meeting new people and his excitement shows with wiggeling of not just his little nub tail but his whole back side.  He is crate trained and is good with dogs and cats.  He will do best in a home with out small children or the elderly since he is still very rambunctios and will need a fully fenced yard to gallop around in(preferrably 6ft stockade).   He does show some toy possesion growling so we never grab a toy out of his mouth, but he will drop the toy on command by saying “drop” and then we give him a treat(soon no treats will be necessary) and you can retrieve it with out any concern.  He is very well house trained and does not have any issues with marking in the house. we are now accepting applications for him. His adoption fee is $150  All available dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for dogs is $150 for Adult dogs > 15lbs, $100 for Seniors 8yr+, and $200 for Small breed dogs and Puppies < 6 months  If you decide to apply for this or another animal, you can complete the application online here https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/570/generic We require that all dogs in the home be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. If you would like to email or call, you can reach us here: mustangshelterfriends@gmail.com or  405-578-4738Our volunteers would love to talk to you about available pets, but please allow time for them to get back to you, they do this in their free time. **WE ARE NOT A SHELTER - WE'RE A FOSTER-BASED RESCUE* The Classic Cars litter were born November 12th, 2023 to a Rottweiler mother, but by the looks of them we think they have 2-3 different dads and no clue on their breeds. An elderly man who was once homeless took in their mama because he knew how it felt and couldn't bare to see her suffer out in the cold. They've all been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped so all they need now is a family of their own! Keep in mind that young puppies require lots of patience and time to learn house manners and proper obedience. If interested in adopting please apply on our website: SHELTERFRIENDS.ORG Processing takes 1-5 days and then we'll email you (add shelterfriendsok@gmail.com to your contacts to avoid our messages going to your spam folder).

Story
Meet Mutt - your future furry best friend! This one-year-old bundle of joy is the perfect addition to any loving home. Weighing in at around 35 lbs, Mutt is the ideal size for cuddles and playtime. Mutt is a well-behaved, house, and kennel-trained pup who's been doing a great job with leash training. He's looking for a forever home with someone who can continue to reinforce his good behavior and continue his leash training journey. This medium-energy marvel is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. He's a true "pawsome" playmate and would adore having a doggy friend to frolic with. Mutt is no stranger to the dog park, where he thrives while playing with his buddies. However, Mutt's love for feline friends is not as strong, so he's seeking a cat-free home. While he hasn't lived with kids before, he should do just fine in a home with respectful children who understand how to interact with dogs. Mutt is a ton of fun and adores playtime. He's always ready to drag out his toys and engage in a spirited game of tug of war with his furry pals. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give Mutt the loving home he deserves. He's the perfect companion for an active, dog-loving household. Ready to make memories and share adventures with Mutt? Come meet him today and let the good times roll! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped. You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@yahoo.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.com/adoption-application!

Story
Tucker is a fun loving, happy pup!  He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and then he is full of adventure and life!  He has a smile that is contagious. He is crate trained and house broken. He does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does well riding in the car. Tucker likes being around children, and he is gentle. He is trained to not jump up. He loves other dogs and will play, chase, and wrestle for hours!  He likes to chase cats, but cats don’t seem to like that very much.  Chickens and ducks are just snacks to him, so maybe a home without chickens or a really secure chicken coop would be best. He’s incredibly sweet, loves belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles, and (of course) TREATS!  He’s a good boy who is hoping to find his new best friend. ##1590437##
