I was picked up as a stray with my kong in my mouth, I love my kong !!I absolutely LOVE TO PLAY, I love my toys, , so I will definitely need some of those in my new home. I am friendly with people and I have been fine with the few dogs that I have been introduced to at the rescue. If you have another dog, we will need to do a meet and greet with proper introductions and see how it goes. No cats for me though. Now I know my foster mom already told you I love my toys, sometimes though I don’t like to share them, but once I trust you well then that’s a whole different story so…. We found this sweet girl on the side of a busy road and decided to take her home and find her previous owners. She was not chipped and we had no luck with internet posts so she became ours for the time-being. She is very sweet and good with our 1 year old. She gets along well with our other dog as well (a male husky mix). However, we’ve had another baby since then and it’s too much to try to train her and make sure she is getting enough stimulation since she’s still pretty young. The vet guessed that she’s around 1 year old. She is very submissive and simply wants to make you happy all the time. She does have a habit of digging holes to escape our fence and it’s a problem we can’t seem to fix. That’s the only down-side to her. She would be a great family dog for anyone who wants to take the time to train her a little bit.

Meet Captain! Captain is a 7 year old purebred Doberman looking for his perfect fit. He LOVES food and will do anything for a treat. He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in his safe space of the crate. He has been professionally e-collar trained and knows many commands such as heel, come, sit, down and place once trained to his new “place”. He loves to go for car rides and chase away any deer or squirrels from the area! A fenced in yard is a must! Captain is high energy who acts much younger than his age. He is good with kids but because of his large size, high energy and occasional lack of spatial awareness, older kids would be best. He is not good with cats or small dogs. Larger dogs he can be aggressive with at first, but with proper introductions, he can get along with other large breed dogs.
