You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Abby is a stunning Rottweiler that is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 65lbs. After a rough start in life, she is now searching for her forever home. Abby was never socialized properly prior to finding her way into Best Friend Pet Adoption. She has since been through an intensive 8 week positive training program and did very well. Feedback from her training program is that Abby is loyal, loving, and eager to please. She is very food and treat motivated. She loves to work for her food! Abby enjoys her nosework training to enrich her life. Abby is now being fostered by an experienced dog person who has continued to work with her training and confidence. She is crate trained, leash trained and house broken. She needs a fenced yard and ideally some additional walks during the day. She has been crated for up to 4 hours. Abby is currently living successfully with two male Rotties with low energy. She will not do well with high energy dogs and would do best as an only dog with an experienced, responsible owner. Having previous experience with Rottie's would be beneficial. Abby would not do well in a home with cats or with a first time dog owner. When around new people, Abby prefers to be ignored and then will approach and engage with them. Abby has lived with kids and would be ok with older children 12+ that are able to respect boundaries. Could your home be the right fit for Abby? She has come a long way from her miserable life before Best Friend Pet Adoption saved her. Could you provide a wonderful life for Abby? She will give you plenty of love in return. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Abby and her 6 puppies were surrendered to a rural shelter in August 2023 when the puppies were only 4 weeks old. Animal control did a welfare check and found Abby living outside in a pen with a huge sore around her neck from an embedded collar. One of our volunteers wanted to help immediately and agreed to foster Abby and her puppies. The puppies have all been adopted and now it is Abby's turn to fine a wonderful home. Ace Mufusa is a 9 month old German Rottie puppy. His birthday is January 7, 2024. He is very gentle and loving. He can sometimes be goofy and he loves being under is owners. He is GREAT with children. He loves being outdoors playing but he as mostly being an indoors dog. He loves watching cartoons He is still in the process of being Potty trained but on a consistent schedule he does very well. His dog food is the Rottweiler Royal Canin which he LOVES. Ace is also registered with the AKC. Papers available. My family has had Ace since he was 8 weeks old. I originally got Ace to train him as an ESA for my special needs son and Ace does very well. I am looking to rehome Ace only because my family and I are moving and there is breed restriction and he is not allowed. My kids and I love Ace very much and we want him to go to a family that will love him as much as we do. We are looking for someone who will be patient and kind with him and someone who will understand and appreciate him.

I was left on one of those foster home things front porch. It's pretty messed up man. I mean I am fully vetted, heartworm negative, and not one of those crazy baby dog things. Xander does great at the dog park and loves to play with other dogs, which is good because he is an active boy. His foster parents walk him 3-5 miles every day. Because of his active lifestyle, we recommend a home with no small children. As mentioned before, Xander loves dogs, so he would love to have a doggy companion. When Xander isn't running around, he spends his time watching TV (He's a great Sunday football companion). Xander is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and loves the dog park. He is learning to use a leash but pulls a lot still. He does have some separation issues and will bark at people. Xander is an amazing dog, that still needs some training. He is looking for a someone knowledgable of the doberman breed but loving pawrent to love him. **Xander's perfect home would have another dog, older or no children, and someone with doberman breed experience.
