Story
Meet Tebow, a friendly and adventurous 5-year-old boy weighing 47 lbs. He’s an excellent walker and runner on a leash, enjoying every opportunity to explore and sniff his surroundings. His curiosity is endless, and unlike some dogs, he doesn’t pull on the leash, making walks a pleasure. Tebow is social and enjoys meeting both people and other dogs. He’s eager to say hello and may give a little bark from a distance to greet new friends. He’s never overly excitable or unruly in his interactions, making him a well-mannered companion. He’s also great in public settings and has had positive experiences with children, showing his gentle and calm nature. Tebow is patient and friendly around little ones, making him an ideal family companion. Although he had a bit of a struggle jumping into the car, he managed it with some effort and quickly settled in for the ride. He enjoys sticking his head out the window or lounging with a ball in his mouth, making car trips a fun experience for him. When it comes to playtime, Tebow loves spending time in a fenced-in yard. He has bursts of energy to run and play, followed by moments of relaxation in the shade. Though he isn’t interested in dog treats, he loves his toys—especially squeaker balls and a purple tug toy. A belly rub is one of his favorite ways to unwind, and after a fun-filled day, he happily naps, content and relaxed. Tebow is a kind, gentle dog who enjoys affection and adventure. He would thrive in a loving home and would make a great companion for anyone looking for a curious, playful, and affectionate friend. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!

Story
Meet Skut, a smart, affectionate boy who’s ready to find his forever home. Skut is a quick learner and already knows how to sit on command, impressing everyone with his intelligence. He has a gentle, loving nature and enjoys showering his humans with affection. Skut loves to play fetch and will happily chase after a ball for hours, showcasing his playful side. Skut has a friendly and outgoing personality, doing well in public settings. Recently, he was spotted greeting people in a store with huge tail wags, showing how much he enjoys meeting new faces. While he may jump up to greet people initially, he’s easily redirected and quickly settles down. Skut walks fairly well on a leash with only mild pulling, making him a great companion for leisurely strolls. Although Skut is generally a brave boy, he can be a little head shy and timid around quick movements toward his head. He may also be scared when first entering a car, but with time and patience, he settles down and adjusts. Above all, Skut absolutely loves affection and will be your loyal cuddle buddy once he feels comfortable in his new home. If you're looking for a smart, loving companion who enjoys playtime and snuggles, Skut may be the perfect fit for you! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. BRANDI is ready for her forever home! She is about 72LBs, sweet and friendly once she warms up and feels comfortable. She is selective with dogs and prefers male dogs. We think she would do best in a home with just one adult or with a couple. Brandi is a great dog, but needs some training and exercise, and a safe place to call her own. Decompression time and a routine is really going to help this girl shine. She will make a great companion for someone with Rottie experience. Brandi is a 3 year old with a docked tail.
